Hey everybody! It's been a week since I last posted. The weather here has been a gloomy bitch and got me unwell for the rest of the week. I wasn't able to keep up with my exercise routine because my muscle were aching from the weather and up to a point where I had to sleep through for a complete rest. But I am we'll now so lets get on with this shit. LOL.
Lets do a short run what has been happening. There has been 2 episodes each of the shows/webisodes that I am currently following; RPDR 5, The Big Reunion, & Willam's Beatdown; just remembered to check for new episode of My Ghost Story. I had been watching a couple of UK shows as well mostly back episodes; Grand Design, Alan Carr Chatty Man, Miranda and my colleague asked me to watch the Office UK. So those are the shows I'm watching.
Lets do The Big Reunion. So Blue has been finally introduced into the show. I will compact their story because they were featured for 2 episodes. So, as expected the other bands are also unhappy of their addition because they reunited and released new material when all the original cast didn't. But eventually they learned to accept Blue. Lets cut short the story, starting with Anthony. He was in the brink of bankruptcy when he accepted to appear on I'm a Celebrity! He also opened up about how he was the fourth wheel; the fat, least attractive and perceived as the one with least talent. Black guy... Simon! Forgot the name back there. He was floating about doing little solo work. Lee was supposedly the reason for the split because he was the big headed member; the bitch. After they split he had a less fulfilling solo career. Engaged with Liz from Atomic Kitten and you can see he was shit from Liz's reaction when they met at the reunion. Ok, the biggest story I think is Duncan. Other than his face looking like plastic work now, he is also the gay one. When googled this, Lee revealed he had threesomes with Duncan. Weird that he didn't figured it out when Duncan started sucking his... Well I dunno what happened with their 3-way. Hit it Justin Timberlake!
I am very excited with Miranda. At first when I saw her on Graham Norton and Chatty Man I had my doubts if I could relate to her plot. Surprisingly I did. The plot is a bit resembles the likes of Kim Sam Soon and Bridget Jones' Diary. She is a single privileged woman in her late 30's. She used her inheritance to buy a Joke Shop, which sells Joke toys. As most single woman shows there is a target sexy male character in the form of Gary, played by Tom Ellis. He is the chef on the next door canteen/pub whatever. He is also a long time friend and crush of Miranda. There are also a lot more of eccentric characters. Her friend and store manager who keeps the shop running. Her judgmental mother. Lastly Clive, who works with Gary. Clive also works as an escort as revealed in one of the episodes. Most of the humor on the show are centered on physical comedy, Miranda falling or bumping into things. I also relate to the fact that she was an outcast and didn't really have much friends or was good in socializing. Definitely, a show I will continue to watch.
On the home front, I've flashed my router to a DD-WRT firmware. Then flashed also an old one to set it up as a Repeater bridge. It was hours and hours of trial and error. I was following the instructions from Lifehacker the only difference was that on the guide they chose repeater but I needed to choose Repeater-Bridge to get the Internet through as well. Why did I flash the routers, you ask? Well I was already planning to do it a long time ago because the third party firmware offered more flexibility. I did it now because my home Internet was getting unstable so I set up the old one as sort of a stabilizer and it worked!
YouTube also has updated the profile page. I have been making a couple of picture mash up videos from my NA Trip last year. The idea came to me when I was watching iPhoto import the pictures and the thumbnails changed in half a second. I know this is a very common effect but I don't think I've used it so I did. I did Day 1-3, the biggest problem is YouTube's license where it muted the songs I selected to sing over the mash up. Luckily, some of my songs were just blocked in Germany. I'll take it. So far, Day 1 was Cyndi Lauper's Set your heart, Day 2 is Carly Rae Jepsen's Drive and lastly Day 3 is with 911's New Groove Generation. Aside front he mashups from my trip, I also did another one for YouTube's new Channel Trailer. For this one I recycled a coupled of videos and added pictures of my previous work. The dilemma was sound. I had the visual ready but I didn't know how to make music. Luckily, iLife have a perfect sound. I will incorporate this video with my website but I'm still thinking and designing where it should sit.
I'm quite happy because I was able to accomplish a couple of stuff. If it can only pay the bills. But that's life C'est La Vie!
