I know the video is very late for last year's Christmas and too early this year's but this episode of Chatty Man was for last year's Christmas. Chatty Man is one of the shows I love to watch because Alan Carr is very witty and he is very quick-minded. I love that he is genuinely funny and bitchy. I think that's is how the show has survive 9 series. On this episode, he has Miranda Hart, Ian McKellen, Gordon Ramsey and Kylie Minogue. I loved how he interacts with Miranda then Gordon was very playful and not so F-word. Gandalf aka Ian was great as well but I feel thats his segment was too short. I don't watch all the episodes because most of the stars I don't know but when I do Alan never disappoints.
And then, The Big Reunion. I thought about making a single post but then I realised it might not be long enough or interesting. So inserting it in between would be best. The concert on going now, which I just realised that its March already... Welcome to my world of not being able to keep with dates at times.
So let us do a sort of introduction with the band that I least know of; Liberty X. I have heard of this band before and remember just a clip of 1 of their songs. Consist of 5 members; the 3 girls and 2 boys. They're one of those. The story was they were a bunch of rejects from a TV singing competition who got together and formed a band. They first single, "Thinking It Over" peaked at #5. Best single, "Just a Little" reached #1. Last and flopped single is called "X".
On the show, one of the members... Michelle was revealed as (at least what I think) was the worst and the media-whore of the group. Her issue now was that she has a cancer gene. I'm not Wikipedia, check it about the full detail of her cancer gene. She had surgery... I'm not really sure how reconstruction of her body will change the cancer gene. Also she was revealed as the slimming pill addict and party freak.
The 2 other girls didn't have any shit but the 2 other had for being the usual pop star drunkards. Not much drama actually for this group actually that's why I started with them. On the show, they are pretty much the fillers kinda like the dead air fillers because their story is really the most boring of the bunch. There was no power struggle, no hating within the group, no kicking or fighting just the ho's personal issues... Of course with all the drama from the other groups, their not so interesting story calms the show and kinda like a bathroom break for the viewers. At least it's what I think. Here's the song I remember them from, seriously I thought just a 1-hit wonder back then.
I have made about 9 strips for BFFL, but I haven't thought of how to incorporate my new jokes into the comic strip yet, I get most of it from my daily life because I dont take a lot things seriously quick to give a smartass funny comment. so will continue on imagining and dreaming. On another activity, it's starting to pickup and seems to go on the right direction (finally) but still of course, fingers crossed!
That's it for now, I will leave you with "Video Games" by Lana Del Ray a song heavily used on The Big Reunion... I actually thought they would use most of the line-ups songs instead, I guess I was wrong.
