Its almost mid-autumn, its on September 8 to be exact. I am still unemplyed and money is quickly in depleting. That's life it sucks and kicks you in the balls. Anyways, I have prepared 2 new web series; well aside from learning to drive again, to premiere in Autumn since I have all this free time.
First is "Piggy Back Ride", my travelling/walkthrough show where I strapped a GoPro on my chest or stomach and capture some of the places I go to. I started filming while I was in San Francisco, starting to regret that move but anyways it was a sort of vacation. I plan to do some local destinations as well here in Hong Kong hopefully when I'm back on my feet. Piggy Back Ride will premiere on 11 September 2014 at 20:00 HKT. Maybe I won't say the destination for the first episode and first of the sub-series, you will know when it premieres.
Next is Piece of Sheet, this one I also plan to premiere thus Autumn. Pre-production has started, I bought some of the supplies I need and been looking around the net for patterns I will feature. But first, what is this series about again? Piece Of Sheet is my papercraft series, basically filming me making papercrafts. I will not feature super-complex pieces for now. I will stick to simpler models as restrained by the limitations of my broadband connection. I am hoping to launch this before Winter which is either September or October; I haven't decided yet if this will be my Tuesday or Wednesday show.
I have also made a Sorta Ice Bucket Challenge video. I don't believe in the challenge but I recieved the challenge so it inspired me to do the video mocking it. It also came with a Bloopers reel, it was fun doing it and I hope you guys enjoyed it too. It has also sparked me to make more mocking videos, which I plan to call "Mocking Bird Specials". It won't be a regular series but more of a seasonal thing whenever I feel I can mock internet fads.
On other news, I have been making sort of professional logos for friends; sort of slowly going into professional graphic design work. I will upload them on the website soon to expand my portfolio. Aside from logos I am also making some t-shirt designs for a friend. Hopefully that works out and I can go into freelance design work and get my design out there as well as earn extra cash.
So that's the plan so far. I am hoping to get a proper job soon aside from the sort of hobby work I am doing at the moment.
