So end of the month again. What have I done so far? Nothing, obviously. Just kidding. I did do done doing some stuff. I am in the middle of my lazy summer cleaning. It means that I am cleaning but depending on my lazy meter which reaches its max very... very... VERY FAST. I threw away some stuff because we gotta fight that hoarding spirit deep within.
I am obsessing with Incredibles, not really obsessing but once I got a background sound going... then its going for days... weeks or maybe months. So the first Incredibles movie is my current background sound.
What else am I obsessing about? Oh Mesh Network. So its been around for awhile now and I am obsessing about it. So Mesh Network in simple terms is a set of routers packaged and interconnects with each other. Basically, it means that its a Wireless repeater in a easier setup. So I've been reading about it and apparently setting up wireless repeaters limits the bandwidths. With Mesh the bandwidth maintains as it is. Don't take my word on it, because like I said I'm lazy. There's a whole bunch of words before and after that.
I right now eyeing a set from Asus and one from Huawei. The Huawei is on the advantage because of its price point but I do have a Huawei portable AP which is really not working that well. Now, I don't live in a big place BUT... the walls are oddly not wifi signal friendly for some odd reason which I don't know what reason that is of yet. The signals are more stable with repeaters at 2 ends of the apartment that I live in. Hence, why I am looking into the Mesh Network system... wifi... extravaganza?
Google also has a set called the Google Wifi... go figure; but it seems there are more mediocre reviews than good? I am not sure will research some more. What I know so far it has one feature that the other 2 has which is Mu Mi Mo... mu.? Ma? MU-MIMO! Not sure what it is something multi-user.
So these 3 brands should be reliable enough but of course like most stuff I invest in. It has to be future proof at least for the next 5 years.
