I am having some tension tamer before going to bed. Hurts playing in the background. I guess I regret not watching their concert in Hong Kong couple of years back. I am watching Hakaba Kitaro again. The 2007 Anime series, spawned by the same people who created the Mononoke Series. So the artwork is the same but the story is the original Hakaba Kitaro more popularly known as GeGeGe no Kitaro.
It tells of a Boy from the Ghost tribe as he struggle through the human world. Mixed humor with paranormal and Japanese myth. It is an entertaining series. This version is also one of the darkest if not the darkest in the Anime versions. Other versions portray Kitaro as a knight in shining armor helping people. In this iteration, he is just a mischievous kid doing odd paranormal jobs. I recommend this series and the 1980's series because those are the only 2 versions I watched. The other versions are very children's show like... so more amusing for kids obviously. There is a 2018 Anime, I might watch it and give it a try.
