20181031 -Halo Halo Halloween

It has been a long 2 weeks since I last posted.

So I was in Manila last week for 4 days to visit my sister.  I was literally offline the whole time I was there.  Mobile signal was not so good and my sister's home ISP was down.  Oddly or coincidentally her Home internet was also down the last time I was there.  It was fun and relaxing 4 days.  Away from the rush of Hong Kong.  No one is rushing, no was in a hurry for an imaginary objective.  The pace was far more better.  I ate a lot... obviously.  Ate a lot of local food since I was already there.  I had Halo-Halo at Barrio Fiesta... it was alright but not the best I had.

What else have I been up to?  Work... is still the same... same feeling towards my job.  It was awkward to go on a slow pace and then back to a fast pace.

The weather has finally cooled down.  I am happy.  The temperature is now in the range of 17-28 degrees.  Autumn has really arrived.  I am so anticipating winter.  I want the super cold weather.  Temperatures of less than 10 and enjoy a hot cup of something, but coffee of course is on that beverage list.  Pokemon Go has a Pikachu with a witch's hat on.  It's cute but Pikachu is cute so 2 positives is a negative?  You do the math.


Today, I went to Tin Shui Wai to drop off my car for routine check up.  Everything is alright.  No problems.  While waiting for the car, we went to a nearby mall and watch a movie.  We watched dear hunter....?  hunter fear?  Anyone? Anybody? ...  It is something Hunter... but it is about a submarine...
Hunter Killer! It was alright but lot of time it was like "what?"  for example... The characters would be I have something confidential to tell you...  lets go to an open area where everybody passes by... or let's go outside the door where everybody can still hear us... so that was weird.  I have to give them credit to kill characters because it was very logical and their death was realistically supposed to happen.

20181019 - October October Fest October Fest

Just kidding!  This is not about Octoberfest.

Anyway, just thought to post something random because it has been 5 days.

Moving on, I have decided to go ahead and try out TeePublic.  See how it goes if it makes any additional profit.  I am not expecting much from it but it is a good start for basically lazy people especially me.  I have some designs already so I guess just setting up the account and store is all I need to do.  Profit-wise...  A good meal every month I think is good enough, of course the goal is for it to rocket but I am not that Optimistic.  So the store that I have been saying a lot on the website will be happening or materialising soon.

5 days has past, I am not really sure what I have been doing the past few days.  I am sure that I am working this weekend and then flying Monday next week to visit my sister.  That will be fun.  Just a short visit.  I know this is the second time this year I am visiting her but you know?  The memory plays with you.  Sp looking forward to see my sister and of course eat the food.

What else?  I guess that is for this random post and just listen to Dolly.

20181014 - Sunday Sunday Quiet Sunday

It's been a lovely and quiet run at work.  It is kind of good, there's stuff to do and not too much stuff that I go crazy.

So 2 more days of work.  Then my precious off days and then a week later it's flying time.

I have to go buy some groceries and goodies.  Pay rent tomorrow.  Errands.

Suddenly thought of this song.


What was I talking about?  Errands.  Yes.  Errands.  I need to get more plastic baskets to organize my shit.  I am borderline hoarder but I am slowly throwing away stuff that I don't need or touch for years.

I really don't have much else to report so I guess... Good night.  Back to studio.

20181013 - Public Public TeePublic Phantom Alerts

So more projects, like money making project.  I have been thinking of selling T-shirts with my designs on it.  These couple of days I have been looking at some services other YouTubers use.  So the first one I looked up was TeeSpring courtesy of OmarGoshTV.  His wife Melissa mentioned it in one of her Melissa Mondays videos.  I wasn't so sure with TeeSpring a gut feeling was telling me it wasn't right and after a few research some forums has commented on some of the limitations and restrictions of TeeSpring.  So while researching about TeeSpring, I came to another company of the same service and it is TeePublic.  Now while I type this I am also feeling like maybe they are the same company because of the spelling.  That being said I don't think they are.  So forums has recommended TeePublic versus TeeSpring being that TeePublic has more flexibility with their service.  So I will try out TeePublic and add it to my site.


Moving On.  So I just took a shower.  While I was feeling my Oats and washing my body, getting all relaxed and clean with my new waterfall shower-head.  Then, all of a sudden, my Amazfit Bip vibrated because there was an alert and it was from my security cam.  Yes, I take a shower with my Amazfit Bip on, don't worry it is water-proof or at least Shower water-proof.  Not Swimming Water-proof though so don't go swimming with it on.  So I am already, obviously, at this point and have already turned off the security cams after I got into the house.  But it alerted me that it detected movement in my living room.  So, do I go check or do I just stay in the bathroom?  It was kinda creepy because I wasn't sure if I had a break-in or if there was a ghost.  Anyway, it was a false alert or more precisely, it was a repeat alert.  The alert was from 2 hours ago and I don't know why it alerted me again.  Don't worry there was no break-in 2 hours ago, it would usually alert me when it switches into night vision mode when it gets dark.  So repeat alert has never happened since I got this Amazfit Bip, I did get rattled a bit but I am fine.  I can take care of myself.


It's about 2 month since I got my Amazfit Bip.  So far I am still loving it as a fitness tracker.  Since I don't see it as a SmartWatch I don't expect much from aside from what it is supposed to do.  The Battery life is great, I would charge about 2-3 weeks.  To be exact it is at 30% and my last charge was 22 days ago; talk about long battery life.  Plus I know how to make watch faces now so that is a new hobby for me, although I stick to the same design that I made since I got it.

It is late and I have day 3 of my work week, I am working 5 days because they moved my off-days from last work week.  There was some scheduling issue, the company didn't have enough people.  So I guess that is it for now.  Good Night!

20181011 - Clean Clean Lazy Cleaning with better sounds

So I was supposed to post yesterday because it was October 10; so its like 10-10... 10's across the board... LOL.  Anyway, I forgot so I'm posting today.  I think I said on my last post I am listening to Sarah Slean again.  Her songs are still great jam when I am in my Alternative pop mood.  Although I don't think she's considered alternative pop, I just like to place her there because her songs especially the first few albums sound like they are next to Tori Amos but also like Sade or Norah Jones.  Anyway not the point.  So yeah, back to listening to her songs.  Actually when I first started making videos I used her song "Playing cards with Judas".  It is still up on my original channel, should I post it here?  Maybe later when I start with this new project.  I started thinking of using it again to try and learn animation.  I already have an idea it's just the production that will take time because, you know?  I'm Lazy.  So let's listen to George Michael instead... so random... LOL!


I haven't done much the past 3 days.  I went to visit my parents and went grocery shopping with them.  Then 2nd day I was running around in the rain...  not intentionally.  It was just pouring yesterday.  I did some shopping again, mostly to replace broken stuff or errands I have been putting off.  I got a replacement Water-Fall shower head... Yes, I am fancy I use a water-fall shower head.  I like it because it showers directly down at you so it feels relaxing.  Also spent the past 2 days, cleaning my room and living room... Don't expect much because I am a lazy cleaner.  I would clean a bit move stuff to a different side then get lazy and do it another day.  Today, I went shopping again...  I literally went out and bought a sound bar then bought lunch and went back home.

So I got a JBL Bar Studio.  It is a 2.0 channel sound bar that doesn't have a separate Sub-woofer unit, which is the number selling point for me.  I mean yeah 5.1 channel would be great for surround sound but the separate sub woofer I had always a problem with.  It is very difficult to decide where to place it.  Moving on, it has bluetooth as most modern devices.  It also has TV remote support, out of the box.  OUT OF THE BOX.  I didn't know at first because I didn't read the manual nor I did a full research on this device.  What closed the deal was obviously the price.  It is cheaper than most brands.  It costs half that of the Sony model.  It has great sound for its compact size.  I was listening to it all afternoon today.

Back to work tomorrow...  I am back to a 5 day but just for this round...  Hope it is quiet tomorrow.

20181007 - Days Days Quietly Passing by Days

Another day another meh.  Today was one of the better days, I get to leave on time.  If only everyday is like this.  Smooth and on time but Life is a bitch and it is not always quiet. 

Let's watch some Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Large? Large? Law?  At Law.  I enjoy watching the cheeky humor and cross-over of Harvey Birdman.  Mostly from Hannah Barbera cartoons.  Now Hannah Barbera Is a famous Animation studios back in the days.  They produced some famous names such as The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Yogi Bear, Scooby Doo and what's his horse-face to name a few. It pokes fun of how obvious some of the loop holes are or plot twists in those cartoons.  It also skill-fully writes in how these storylines mesh with other pop culture references.  If I don't make sense, it doesn't matter because it does in my head.


What else...  I am starting to think how to spend my 3 days off.  This is kind of new on a whole new level.  It is like dreaming of something and when it happens; you just sit there like "now what?".  Anyway I will figure something out.  I'll probably get groceries, do some bank errands and play video games.  I'll have more stuff to do in the future when I gel with the new schedule.

20181006 - Halloween Halloween Not quite Yet

Its Halloween month but not quite Halloween yet.  I drew this random drawing while at work.  It is a yokai inspired drawing I think the original is quite used very often when documentaries are talking about Japanese especially on topics such as mythology, paranormal or superstitions.  It is not pretty I know because also it is not supposed to be pretty.

I found out, I'm starting the 4-day bender.  It basically means I only work 4 days a week but weekends are mandatory.  Maybe this time I wouldn't get exhausted.

The weather of autumn is here... not the original autumn but it was 24 Celsius this morning.  I am loving the weather where the breeze is cool and it is sunny.  It is the same feeling when I was in San Francisco; but it is colder there.  Degrees of 13-16 Celsius.

What else is happening?  Oh!  I'm back to watching Top 5s on YouTube.  It is some guy doing Top 5 of stuff; mostly UFO, paranormal or anything creepy... hence why I like the channel.  He has gather some pretty cool videos around the web and the videos are not super long that at time could get boring.   He also has a tolerable voice.  You know what I mean.  Some people have voices that you don't want to hear or generally is not pleasing; kinda like radio DJ's.  You gotta have the voice on top of your content to be a radio DJ.

20181005 - Five Five October Five and more

Hey Everybody.  A few days of silence, obviously.  What have I done recently?  I jump started a car for the first time yesterday.  I'm not really sure if that is the proper way of saying it but it is when the car battery won't start.  You it is jump started.  I have bought a battery pack that has a Jump Start capability, function or is meant for jump starting.  I have to report that it works, it was very simple.  I am a noob with cars, I only know how to drive but as for mechanics...  Please call a mechanic.  I took out the cables at first but luckily I did a quick Google search and I saw a YouTube video on how to use the battery packs.  So, I am very proud of myself for being able to do it and I have to admit I feel like a super human after I did it.

I went to a friend's place today and played some Mario games; Party, Tennis and Kart.  I am a Nintendo Gamer, I enjoy their games more than Hardcore games.  I love the Nintendo Game franchises especially Mario and Legend of Zelda.  I also love Metroid that is a good franchise as well.  So yeah, we played those games on his Nintendo Switch.  I drove to his place, it has been a while since I seen him so it was nice to catch up.  We also had the chance to trade Pokemons.  I completed once of the Mystery Tasks and 2 more to go.


Start another work week tomorrow.  I am honestly starting to slip away but obligation dictates I have to go through.  Bills needs to be paid, life needs money to move on.  So got to keep pushing through. I got to power through.

20181002 - One One More One More Time

My sister helped me get the Rockman 11 Deluxe Box!!! I'm not really sure what it is called.  Special Edition?  Anyway I got it and I love it even though I haven't opened it yet.  I will do an unboxing shortly and pushed that to an earlier publish on CORRUPTED.  So it has the game and the new Rockman Amiibo then some little goodies.  You might probably be thinking, who the fuck is Rockman.  So if you don't know Rockman is the original name of Megaman.  That is all you need to know that matters.


So... The dreaded October is going strong day 2.  It's a shitty fuck up day. SIIIGGGGHHH....

Of course me with my weirdest reaction was that I'm not worried I could get fired...  I feeling more like when you see the train coming and instead of running away; you just stand there and be like "Let's get this over with".  It also feels like if you have this terminal disease and been suffering for months and even before its time you are always like let's go Death, take me away.  Yeah that is how I feel in reaction to the shitty month thats going on.  Hope this awful streak ends soon.

This is like a comical representation of what I feel which is "When will death come?".  I love this artist his comics are so candid and cunning; is that a word?  Anyway he is great and his designs are so cute.

20181001 - Ten Ten Oh One Eighteen

Its October and holy fuck balls.  Screw Censorship! Today was a shit day.  It started alright and quickly escalated into a shit fest.  So this is just the first day of October... Good luck to me for the rest of the month.  It is exhausting and draining to say the least.  To be quite honest I don't know I can mentally go back to 10 years ago so I would give a shit and handle this.


I guess the universe works in weird ways.  I believe in Spirits, I may not believe in a God but I believe in Spirits.  Feeling so low, this video pops up and kinda relates to my current mood.  The song is probably singing about a different cause to the mood but in general the lyrics echoes to my mood.  It has been a while since I heard this song I even forgot if I was in Elementary or High School when it came out.  It was around the Spice Girls era.  This was a huge hit back in the day.

I was supposed to go check out if the new Megaman/Rockman Amiibo is out...  But I was so exhausted I couldn't go.  I got of work thought of eating fried chicken to lift my spirits up BUT Jollibee was packed.  So I took the train home then I went to my usual Taiwanese place for take out BUT instead of my chicken they gave me fried fish...  Talk about a continuous shit day.

Sigh... 2 more days to endure before I get my work weekend.  I want to write some more but my brain has officially shut down... So good night.
