It is Year of the Pig and I haven't posted anything for a week!
So it is seven days since I last posted? What has happened? Do you care? Do I care? Either way I am here. So I only had to work 1 day of the Chinese New Year and for the first in more than 6 months I had a Saturday off.
So I have been working a lot on my Merch Store getting designs ready. Drawing this drawing that. I already uploaded a lot that I can publish later on. I had a brief moment of creator's block but for the past 3 days or so I am on a creative high. So I am good with most designs for the merch store and probably get some other stuff done. I got the King and Queen of Hearts uploaded for Valentine's season 2019. As you remember it wasn't coming together last week but fortunately it is done. I already have a set waiting and ready to go. I am not sure if I will or can make some more for Valentine's aside from the one's waiting to be published but much like last month; you really never know. I am also learning more on the restraints of TeePublic specifically the image size that you can upload. So that was a learning experience and I work quick when I am not in a block and figured out how to get to the minimum size quickly.
I have been using my Chuwi Surbook too. So... I kinda broke it after a few days... well at least the Windows I broke. It was easily remedied with a fresh install. I am happy I did a fresh re-install because there were permission errors here and there so a fresh start is the best thing to do. I am an IT Support so breaking Windows is nothing serious to me. It all started with the bluetooth mouse not auto-reconnecting and then the Firewall Notifications that kept popping up that I can't turn off. After a few changing here and there it broke, well at least the driver, I suddenly couldn't detect my WIFI card. Then when I tried resetting Windows it wouldn't get past activation because the WIFI driver broke and it needs internet to get activated. So I was also kinda lazy re-installing Windows, I got the basics running and I think took me awhile to get around in looking up the correct drivers for the Surbook. It is running now with correct drivers and all that. Now I am waiting for my HiPen to arrive so I can test out the drawing capabilities of this tablet.
I guess let's end with this video it is uploaded by Nuke's Top 5 about one of my favorite artist Adam Ellis. So I first encountered Adam through Instagram when he made funny comics as he is watching Rupaul's Drag Race. Later following him on Instagram did I find out about his very funny comics. It is very relatable to an adult life. I recommend Googling him and reading his comics it is very fun. So back to the video it chronicle's Adam's ghost encounter at his New York City apartment. I think I have read about his paranormal experience before but I just forgot. So pretty much this is up my alley of interest. Paranormal... Check. Creative funny stuff... check. Ghost... Check. Haunting... Check. Real or not, I am entertained.
