20190325 - Tired Tired One more day of tired

I am exhausted luckily I only have 1 more day of work left.

I've been watching a lot of Netflix, I am still on Project Runway I tried exploring other shows but haven't seen one that sparks my interest yet.  I mean aside from the ones that I saw like Castlevania, and Disenchantment.



I have been using The Knocks' song "Collect My Love" as background music to my TeePublic slideshows.  I like the intro and it matches the slideshow perfectly.


I don't know I'm tired so I am going to get some rest. Ciao!

20190323 - Stream Stream Watching Stream

It has been a couple days already since I posted.  I am recently watching a lot of Netflix, recently meaning about 2-3 days ago.  But then... what do I watch on Netflix... Project Runway and not even the new seasons the old seasons 7 & 8.  Netflix only starts with 7 so the earlier seasons are not available.  Luckily, I love seasons 7 and 8.  After that kinda lost interest again.  


I have been watching a lot of model home tours on YouTube.  I love home tours like I said before.  I found this real estate agent that post his model house tours in YouTube and I am loving it.  It is like my House Tour Porn if you will.  I mean I don't I can buy anything like those but I like to indulge in that dream, in that fantasy and feel my oats.  Hong Kong living is so expensive it balances out the income.  I mean, I don't see myself retiring in Hong Kong.  It is just TOO expensive.


I haven't made new designs in the days that I didn't post.  I guess I am at a plateau with designing.  I tried to create some last night but it was just not coming and it was really not working.  So, I stopped.  It is not my full time job nor my main source of income so I felt that I don't need to stress about it too much.  I do already have a huge collection of designs that I put out on my TeePublic store so I guess my creative side is on vacation.


I have whipped out the PS4 and started playing Resident Evil 2... the Remake.  I will honestly say that I never played the original as most games.  Our family didn't have money growing up so I just play most video games now that I am older.  I started with Standard Mode but I eventually switch to Assisted/Easy mode.  It is just too much for my old soul.  I couldn't keep up.  So.  I am on Easy Mode and I am surviving more and getting less frustrated because my character don't die so quickly.



I really didn't have much stuff done in the days that I didn't post and you know what?   It is OK so ciao!

20190310 - Pattern Pattern post it all

It is Sunday and daylight savings is over for USA.  

Anyway, I have adapted a new pattern in posting on my Instagram account.  So Instagram has a 3 post pattern on the mobile at least.  So lately I have been posting photos that I watermark... more like ocean mark because of the huge logo I smack in the middle of my photos.  Then it is followed by a merch-related post.  That means anything that I am selling on my TeePublic store, the post will follow that.  Last is just a post of any kind.  So in a way it is still my tag line of creative, colorful, corrupted.



The rain finally stopped.  I have 2 more days of work.  Fingers crossed I survive.


My mind has floated away... obviously... anyway ciao!

20190308 - Make Make I like to Make

Last rest day for this week, the big news still hasn't arrived.  Hopefully it does a few days later. 

Anyway the rain has finally stop and I was able to go out and do my bank run.  Yesterday was different story though.  It was raining all day that I just stayed in and played video games while watching YouTube videos.  A new channel that I discovered while browsing smart home devices was I Like to Make Things... no stuff? was it stuff?  Oh yeah so the new channel I discovered was "I Like To Make Stuff".  I love to watch the New Yankee Workshop back in the day and this channel is like the New Yankee Workshop because Bob the channel presenter is a carpenter... or at least I think he is because makes a lot of stuff with wood.  I think if I was not in Hong Kong, carpentry would have been my calling.  His first video that I discovered combines my 2 favorite things.  Carpentry and Home Renovation.  With those 2, I was hooked.  He also does a little bit of electronic DIY but the carpentry is still my favorite.


I also got a new game and that is "World of Final Fantasy Maxima"  to be honest quoting Coco Peru that bothers me.  It's too long of a name.  It is like a Pokemon, Monster something catching sort of game.  I didn't get it back on PS4 but I got it for my Nintendo Switch because... it was on sale.  A cheap queen always buy on sale unless it is one of my Favorite Franchise and Final Fantasy is on the lower end meaning... I can wait for a sale.


I got some new designs on my TeePublic Merch Store.  These are different from my previous designs and I think the first in this kind.  I modified the Cherry flowers into Crests.  So they kind of look like Logos it also means no Mascot or Cartoon Characters.  Just cartoonish crests.  It is still in line with my Japanese Cherry Blossom theme for March.  The inspiration was Samurai Family Crests.  They are available now so you can visit the Merch store and get yours.

20190306 - Rain Rain Television and coffee

It was a rainy day, I went to Shamshuipo.  I went TV window shopping.  Is it called window shopping when you just browse and look around but don't buy anything?  Anyway I didn't know what to do for my rest day and I was bored.  I was browsing Price.com.hk and saw some cheap 4K TV so went out and go windows shopping.  Yesterday I saw a pigeon watching out the window, just watching the traffic outside and below.  He could not be bothered.



I don't know if I do like the new Detective Pikachu trailer and I came around to it or maybe I am just high.  Anyway.  I like it better now.  So I will see it... or maybe based on my track record.

I updated a set of future designs...  I don't know what you call it but I kinda feel I need to keep putting better and bigger designs.  I can't call it burn out, it is more like anxiety.  I am anxious that my imaginary followers would get disappointed in the decline of quality in my designs.

20190305 - Waiting Waiting just keep waiting


Working on more designs for my TeePublic.  Some for this month and for future release.  I am continuing the Japanese theme for this Spring.  I am very happy with the final out come of the designs I made these 2 days.  They will come out soon, look out for it because I will post an update once they are out.  I am drawing inspiration from TV show that I watch like Anime and Drag Race.  You will see.

20190301 - Spring Spring New Designs

Its March and as I said before I am putting out a new Spring Season Japanese Cherry Blossom inspired design.  They are available now so you can get yours.


Did I talk about the new Pokemon game coming out later this year already?  Anyway I am going to.  Out of the blue a Nintendo Direct popped up from nowhere.  Like Literally.  Out of NO WHERE.  I remember I was just surfing around late at night then suddenly saw a notification on my YouTube if I remember correctly about a Nintendo Direct going live and was starting.  So the game looks great, the graphics are a definite upgrade it looks more like the previous game Sun/Moon than the Lets Go games.  The Gameplay is back to the main series it looks like.  They also showed 4 new Pokemons.  The Con?  It is coming out late in 2019.  LATE.  LATE.  It means that it will be November or December.  That will be a long wait.


I am finally testing drawing...?  Drawing Testing?  Draw Test?  Test Drawing?  Anyway I finally draw on my Chuwi Surbook.  So I first used Krita, and Microsoft Paint 3D.  They were ok but somehow not the kind of sketch that I was looking for.  I am now testing out Medibang and Graphiter.  Medibang is like Krita, so far I like Graphiter because it gave me the Sketch that I was looking for but extra features were not free.  I am getting there a lot of learning digital sketching and I will get there.
