Backordered for the Legend of Zelda: OOT3D OST CD

I saw an email that got me excited for a minute... its email confirmation for the Legend of Zelda OOT3D CD!!! But after a minute of excitement, I read the email and checked the status on the Nintendo Website only to find out its still Backordered... So fingerscrossed!!!

I didn't know!!!

How come I was not informed of this??!!?? I hope I made the registration!

What's coming up....

Been awhile since my last post, been a bit busy and lazy.... well not much busy but more of Lazy hahaha. But I will be posting again maybe before weekend or this weekend. What to expect? Hands on with Acer Iconia Tab A500 and the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. Plus more 3DS games, DOA, Street Fighter and Pilot Wings. I am still contemplating on Nintendogs but that will be for a later time.

Nintendo 3DS Menu Ver 2.1.0-3U

A new update for the 3DS is out! There's still no Flash Support, but this update improves the overall performance of the system.

If you currently have update version 2.0.0-2U, this update provides:

• Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments to enhance user experience
• A correction for the screen freeze symptom experienced in the Ridge Racer 3D game
• You can receive automatic updates when a wireless internet connection is available. When the download is complete, you will receive a dialog on the HOME Menu detailing the steps to install the update

If you have not completed the update released on June 6, version 2.0.0-2U, this update will add the following new features:

• Nintendo eShop
• Internet Browser
• Transfer functionality to move DSiWare™ from Nintendo DSi™/Nintendo DSi XL™ systems to the Nintendo 3DS™ system
• Automatic system updates
• Improved stability and performance of the overall system

Decision... Decision... Decisions

Life now is like that cheesy Mary MacGregory song, the one karaoke singers oh so love... its really breaking all the rules :P

But seriously instead of lovers I'm torn between 2 employers. Should I go with a senior position or a totally fresh new start? Do I take baby steps or do I dive in?

Its definitely a huge decision... I've got to be Manly!!! Its either make it or break it.  Considering everybody's response... I've decided to take on the challenge and stay.

Boxing Daria

My favorite episode of my favorite series Daria is the Series Finale "Boxing Daria".  It deals with inner turmoil and the realisation that even in all the insanity of life there's always a positive side of it.  Family and Friends are always there to support and understand you.

Decisions we make in life may not always would come out the way we expected.  But we will always have that special someone that will trust and stand by us.

And where ever you are there's always a special place that makes you feel like its home, even if its a box.

Switching my Twitter Photo Service host

As I have been experiencing problems accessing my twitted pic with Lockerz(formerly known as Plixi), I'm switching Photo Service Host to Twitpic. Lockerz used to be ok but now all the links to my twitted pics don't work especially via Desktop Computer. 

Hopefully with Twitpic, it has a better service.

Cravings: Soft-Shelled Crab Hand Roll

Sometimes...
(Well actually most of the times) You get a craving, and it doesn't go away til you've eat enough that you are sick of it.  You eat and eat, its good while you're eating it and for the first 2 hours, afterwards you wanna kill yourself ;p Then after a short period of time you're craving for it again.

Today I am craving for those deep fried Soft-shelled crabs that are rolled in rice and seaweed. The crunchy, bit sweet meat of those crabs... just makes my mouth water... A cup of green tea please!

Together with the other sushi family.... I will eat you! Bwahahaha

Daria... my tranquilizer..

Somehow in the stress of life, a good rerun of Daria can soothe you down.  In an odd way, the stories are very relatable.  Although Daria is in highschool, but the series have always focused on dealing with life without losing your personal identity.

Thank goodness they released the DVD.

A few Kaworu Nagisa Model Toys I drool for....

You may remember him as the fifth child and as Tabris the 17th Angel of Neon Genesis Evangelion.  But let's cut the sh*t he was Shinji's ultimate romance in the series. Voted 2nd favorite male character from the 90's based on Newtype's poll. Only next to, obviously, Shinji Ikari.

I personally love the character design and below are 2 of my favorites. I'll do anything for you if give this to me ;)

First one is by Kotobukiya, its Kaworu in Plug Suit Style. Second one, already sold out, also by Kotobukiya is labelled NGE: You are not Alone 1.0 Kaworu Nagisa as depicted by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto.

Internet Tablets ~ Cheapo Wifi-Oh!

Today looking into the Mid-range priced internet tablets, and our contenders today are Ainol Novo 8 and Archos Arnova 10 Internet Tablet.  These are wifi-only tablets so they are cheaper, other than they are not superbrands. Its a battle between the Chinese and the French... Manufacturers ;)

Just got out of Standard Chartered, I requested for an ATM card replacement because won't let me do any transaction saying my PIN was invalid although I already got through the with my PIN. So after 1 week I get a new card in the mail...

Planning for the future

Today I got a savings something, something, something from Prudential. I have to contribute a certain amount of money (believe me its not cheap) for 5 years and by the time I retire I will have enough money to survive.

Tablets! Tablets! Tablets!

iPad 2 or Galaxy Tab... ???

Both have the same 1Ghz dual-core Cortex-A9 processor; although Apple calls it A5,  which promises high performance and low power consumption. Apple has iOS, currently at 4.3, and Samsung uses Android 3.0 Honeycomb.


It used to be the smaller form factor the better, now the thinner and the bigger screen the better. After iPad 2 was announced with 8.8mm thickness, Samsung immediately announced a thinner Galaxy Tab 10 at 8.6mm thickness.

Being an iPhone user, I do love the simplicity of the iOS operation. One home button and everything is on the screen. Although I do love Android's UI, the widgets and all that. Both with promising apps that will basically get you going on whatever you have going on your daily life. You know? Games, utilities and Multimedia.

For blogging, camera on a tablet is now a must because you chronicle your every day experience and you may never when a UFO would fly by to take a picture of. ;)

June 6!!! 3DS gets a level up!

So excited! 4 more days to go and my 3DS gets an Internet Browser and the eShop opens its store.

According to Nintendo, 2 free games are up for grabs, Pokedex and Excite Bike, until 7 July 2011. One more thing to take note of is that remastered games are called 3D classics.

Lastly, 3D Video is also added. Unfortunately, no 3D video recording... Fingers Crossed! >___<
