Work is still work. Its a hit and miss. I hit some stuff correctly, I missed some. I still have my self-sabotage in the back of my head. I make mistake and I'm a bit like "Yeah So?" or something like "Are you gonna fire me?" but not in a scared way; more of a relief kind of feeling. It is weird, I know... But after you put in so much years and time into something that is not completely your thing; you just keep rolling with the punches because it pays the bills. At the end of the day, I clock out and move on with life.
I started to watch my diet like I said... that was good for 2 days and restarted maybe this morning. I have thought of a plan to try out but not sure how it will work out though. I will need to research it too, because I am craving large green chilli lately. Especially after the office got dim sum delivered and ordered green chilli with fish cake on it. Now. It is not the super spicy green chilli, it's alright, sit back down. It only has a hint of spicy most of the time. Unlike the one I got today which was spicy! I still enjoyed it though. Anyway, the bigger picture is that I have started finally and have to keep on going on. I am starting with my diet first, before I do more physical stuff. I have to make my body not eat so much.
I found out today, not really found out because it was just announced today. Sophie Ellis Bextor has a new single called "Love is You". You can hear the preview below. I love listening to most of Sophie's singles. She has dance, techno and house music songs. Also new music that is good is always a welcome. I don't know, I guess I am older now and don't go after new Artists anymore like I did in my younger years. I stick to the artists that I grew up with and listen to their new material.
Sophie started with GrooveJet and apparently the new single is a cover of the sample used in that song. I remember when it came out I was in high school. Spice Girls members has just started doing their own thing. Victoria Beckham's single also came out along side Sophie's. I remember it so vividly because of Sophie's distinct square jaw and facial features. It is not something you see everyday. Plus, the song was good too. Her 3 next singles were being played by MTV. After that I don't know why I haven't been updated with her music. I think its a regional thing, most of the singles don't make it to Asian shores especially follow up singles. So... jumping ahead, I heard back of her again in her single "Heartbreak Make me a Dancer" and thankfully with the convenience of the internet I caught up with her stuff in between that I skipped.
So my work week starts tomorrow, and it is Saturday. I hope it will be a quiet and smooth ride, always hoping that it is. I hope I make another post tomorrow, if not then whenever.
