20181231 - Last Last 2018 Last Post

It is New Year's eve!  Last post of the year 2018!

I am at home.  I have my Japanese Paranormal videos in the background.  The weather is cold.  I am having tea.  I am comfortable.


I am not counting down anything.  I am not remembering what happened in 2018.  I may not have much high hopes for 2019, I am trying to lower the expectations to avoid disappointments but I do wish it will be a fruitful year.  I am looking forward to taking on the New Year and I am just gonna enjoy my tea for now.

I got my Lab Test results today, all in all I am borderline of something.  That is a good way of ending the year but means a very painful next year because I have to change my diet and do more exercise again.  So that borderline goes down to average and normal.

I have no resolution list.  I have no solution to begin with so there's nothing solve again.  You didn't understand my last sentence.  Well that is your problem... LOL!

20181230 - 30 30 December 30

A day before New Year's Eve.  I thought I'll do a quick post because it is the last 2 posts I can do for this year.  2018 was a good year, I mean there are some hiccups here and there but I think in general it was quite alright.

Today I bought some Pikachu dolls that clip on to your shoulder.  I think it is in line with the Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu where Pikachu grabs on to your shoulder for dear life.  Just kidding its a cute happy doll and so is in the video game.  I got 2 versions, a sleeping one and one with an Ash Cap on.  When I saw it, I thought it was.  So I went back and bought it but before that I notice there were clips on its hands and I thought what are the clips for?  Where is it gonna clip on?  Then I saw the Label and realised its a Let's Go product and clips on your shoulder.

I was watching a lot of Japanese Ghost videos at work today.  Don't worry it wasn't so much watching but more like listening to it.  Yeah,  I love paranormal videos.  I also went up to the hospital in Sheung Wan this afternoon during my lunch break.  I didn't go up I was just at the entrance of the building.  I haven't gone there for a couple of years.  I guess today was the day that I just sort of visit the building.   Someday, maybe I'll go up and see what's up, maybe try to feel up the area.  Memories.


Gonna keep this short because I have work the early shift tomorrow.  2 more days to work and I get my much needed rest days.  The weather has gone cold... correction.  SUDDENLY gone cold again.  We were at 27 degrees celsius last Friday and suddenly dropped to 11 yesterday and 8 degrees this morning.  It is the crazy Hong Kong Weather for you.  Anyway, good night and drive carefully!

20181228 - No No Regrets No No


3 more days until the New Year Kicks in and it is  2019.  Do I have a lot of regrets the passed year? YES, DEFINITELY.  Do I dwell in those regrets?  HELL NO.  Why?  BECAUSE ITS TOO MANY I CAN'T REALLY REMEMBER THEM ALL.  LOL.

I got a new car battery today.  It is lithium and no liquid acid or whatever they call it.  I'm not really a car pro nor knowledgeable; my level of car knowledge is just I know how to drive it.  It was a quick change, maybe almost half an hour I wasn't really counting.  At least I am confident to say no more power jumping in at least 2 years but if it does my reliable portable power bar/car jumper is right there to start the car.

I also completed the Pokemon Amiibo set with the gigantic Detective Pikachu Amiibo.  It is about 2-3 times bigger than a regular Amiibo.  It is cute.  I won't take it out the box because it will not fit my clear case display box.  I got the clear case display boxes from Living Plaza.  I figure since I don't really use the NFC function much and they just stand on my shelf.  Instead of collecting dusts, it will be cleaner inside a clear display box.  I got the HK$50 ones which I think are the largest and fits most the tallest amiibos.  Obviously not the Detective Pikachu.

Job starts again tomorrow and goes until the 1st day of the new year.

20181227 - Holi Holi its the same as Valentine's Day

So a major holiday has just passed which I would now call Valentine's Day.  This holiday is like Valentine's day was created to sell greetings cards and boost the merchandise sell. A few more holidays in the coming days which means I have to work on those dates again.  I am exhausted.  I am planning my next trip to get some air and be away from all the crazy real life has thrown at me.

I went out with the family today, we had Lin Heung dim sum at Tsuen Wan.  It was a lovely lunch.  Very classic vibe, very Chinese and the food was great.  We also walked around the city and the malls.  I got some groceries and what?  Another Panettone!  Aeon was selling a lemon cream, lemon flavored Panettone for only HK$50.  I also got 5% for it because the whole store was on sale.  I was originally gonna get a small one for HK$10 until I looked down and saw the big one.  I love Panettone now.  Its like a fruit flavored tasty bread.

I am watching some Fischer Youtube videos again.  I don't know what they are talking about I don't know Japanese but I do enjoy watching them play ghost internet games which is why I really subscribed to their channel in the first place.  They no longer do much paranormal stuff though... that's kinda sad.  I still enjoy their videos once in a while.


Speaking of YouTube.  New year is lurking in a few days.  I am contemplating to re-imagine and consolidate my YouTube channel shows.  I had a few new shows planned for 2018 that didn't materialise.   I guess because this is not my full time job and it is just a hobby.  So I will need to consolidate my shows and keep the easier to manage shows.  That said I don't have a lot of shows so only 1 or 2 will eventually be cut.  This might be too early to post and more fitting for New Year's day but who knows I may not even be able to post on that day.  So might as well.  Once I have made my decision, another post will be for that announcement in the future.

20181222 - Grind Grind my Gears...

As I grind for my money, unfortunately.  Bitch.  Please.  Stuff lately are grinding my gears.  The newest guy at work is grinding my gears.  We all know what we signed up or learned what you signed up for in that 3 months you worked in this job.  Be self aware, take it to yourself to learn... REMEMBER the routine.  You don't need to understand it just do the fucking routine "Figure it out or get the fuck out".  Grind, Grind, Grind.  The news are grinding my gears.  Life is just grinding my gears.


I discovered a new YouTube Channel "Nihongo Johnny".  A channel by an American who is a former English Teacher in Japan.  Just Chills or Mr. Nightmare, Johnny also focuses on paranormal topics and stories.  Like the 2 former channels he has a voice that I like, because it is soothing and sort of relaxing to hear.  The difference with Johnny's Channel is that he focuses on Japanese Paranormals.  A topic I also love.  I enjoy listening to the Japanese paranormal stories much like an audio book I play in the background.  Just like a radio back in the day.  Sometimes you pay attention to it and most of the time you don't.  Bitch has more subscribers in 3 months...  I'm not bitter.  Just pissed.

20181221 - Winter Winter its not Spring but I'm Cleaning

So I did a little Winter cleaning today and cleared out some old clothes.  I was feeling my good samaritan today and threw the clothes I didn't want to keep into the donation box.  The last time I cleared out stuff I just threw them away.  Mostly are t-shirts that I no longer wear and it is just taking up space.  I have more space now, not for clothes definitely.  Probably more toys, LOL.

More merchandise news, I talked to my friend that I did the Rock N Bear designs for.  I asked if I can post my collaboration designs on my TeePublic site and he agreed to it.  So... I will be putting those designs up for a limited time next year on my TeePublic.  Look out for it, of course I will announced it on Social Media.  Don't worry it won't be a spur of the moment posting.  It will be planned.  I thought about it because it will be a good pre-cursor before I release my 2.0 designs for that project.  I think it will be a good move.


YouTube Channel News.  There was no new video for Creating Art last month.  I am aware of that and like I said I hit an Artist Block so I didn't have a new drawing to post.  Unlike my other shows, I make Creating Art maybe a few days before post date.  I am looking to rebrand the series again but I guess that will be for season 3.  I am thinking into making it more Bob Ross-esque in a way with my own quriks. Right now I am looking for an Easel to hold the iPad in place while I randomly draw/paint or sketch stuff.  I also plan to use my Nikon J1(Yes, I have an old camera and I am not planning to get a new one as well) to capture my future videos.

20181220 - Five Five Days before Christmas

Christmas is around the corner.  Five days to be exact and six days since I posted.  I don't know why it took six days for me to post.  Nothing special happened, I got groceries and some good food.  Of course job made me go further insane. 


First things first.  Christmas.  If you want to get anybody presents... GOSH I sound like a sell out.  I published 2 more designs on my TeePublic Store.  One logo and the other the Piggy Back Ride.  The Logo and my Tag Line of describing yourself in 3 words is available in Black and other Colors I think but I mainly prefer it in Black background.  The Pig of Piggy Back Ride is also now available with out the Title Logo.  If you like pigs but don't want the logo, this is a design for you.  It wasn't decided or planned to go live today.  I just felt like making them go live.  I guess the timing is also great since it is the 20th and I like that.


Now that I am done whoring out... LOL.  I got the Instax SP-2 Share printer.  I am testing it out and of course a new video will be out in the future.  So far I like it and works as it says on the box.  I am contemplating on an iPad next and take my Creating Art Series into the next level of Bob Ross... copy or faux Bob Ross.  I did saw a video that had that idea and so far the iPad was able to produce the oil painting process.  I am not gonna post that video because I didn't like the sketch it was more offensive to my liking than Funny.  So.  I don't recommend Googling it.  To the important stuff.  The iPad work great and the painting app that he used was ProCreate which I also saw from other videos that is the app of choice for digital artist.  When I first did Creating Art, I used an app called Brushes. It was a good enough app that didn't require me to purchase and apparently the ProCreate, although is a paid app, is the best replacement for the Brushes app.  It has most functions like recording and stuff.

20181214 - Christmas Christmas Half Month already

Middle of the month already... Like Omigosh.  Time Flies!!!  Then I will be reporting for Holiday Duty.  I am babysitting the new guy at work still...  I have no idea why they are all passing him to me...  When everybody said I should take care of him and train him again...  Bitch.  Like.  I was.  Like.  Why the fuck does the latest addition have to teach the even newer guy?  I haven't gotten my shit in full pieces together and they want me and expect me to take care of an even newer guy.  Like.  Seriously. So I don't  f-ing know, how he will survive and how I will survive.  I don't like this feeling, and I don't like this responsibility.


Peaceful thoughts.  Peaceful thoughts.  Let's just listen to Bob Ross' soothing and relaxing voice.  I am still watching his shows on YouTube.  Love that it is on there and not yet pulled.   I am not sure if the Bob Ross company uploaded it; either I love it. He works with Oil or acrylic canvas painting which my father was so good at.  I remember he painted this view of a Mountain and stream running down at the bottom with tress and forest on the side.  It kinda looks like the painting in this episode. I have always thought it was the most beautiful thing ever.  Also I was still young and has never seen anything in the outside world.  But Yeah.  That stuck on my mind until now, so the though of mountains and streams of water always brings me there.  Unfortunately though, my father never thought any of his kids to paint nor play instruments.  I self learned to draw and remember wanting so much to learn how to paint.  Now watching this showing re-tingles my desire to learn oil painting but I know it is messy and will be a great challenge especially with my work and future family responsibilities.  I wonder if the apps nowadays can do the same.  Anyway that is in the past, we gotta move on and keep pushing for the future.  I still always dream of having a cabin in the woods, with the mountain view and stream or lake just like in that painting.


I don't think I have been active on anything lately.  My YouTube is scheduled to publish videos, my Instagram hasn't had much active posts, my store is there nothing happening as expected.  I just somehow the SNS life has paused or lost inspiration.  Maybe it is the weather I don't know.  I am re-watching ANTM aside from Bob Ross and slowly going back to Japanese Ghost movies or videos.  These are my comfort zones and in this winter weather I do want to be comfortable.

20181212 - Cold Cold Resting Cold Face

So yesterday after work, I met up with my sister and ordered new lenses for my new circle frames.  They ain't cheap.  The good news, my eyes are still the same after 3 years so the same prescription.  Then afterwards we went to 188 and I was so psyched because a shop has the Lucario Amiibo.  Who is Lucario, he is the blue ninja wolf looking Pokemon that is apparently very popular.  He does look cool but is he my favorite?  Not really.  Snorlax is still my favorite because he is like me.  That means my Pokemon Amiibo collection is almost complete.  I am now just missing the giant Pikachu detective Amiibo.

I've been seeing FujiFilm's Instax SP-2 printer on Price.com.hk and I am so tempted to get one.  It is a polaroid / Instax / Instant Film printer.  I kinda gives you more control in getting the polaroid/instax that you want.  It uses FujiFilm's Instax films and combined with a mobile app to select and edit pictures before creating that perfect Instax.  In a way it will be helpful because it means I don't need to bring my Instax camera and be able to choose the picture but I also kinda feel that I am retiring the camera which I love to use when I go travelling.  It kinda gives that cookie and funny feeling of taking the picture and getting an instant film out.  The printer will also be useful on pictures that can't allow you to use flash.  The camera needs the flash obviously otherwise you get a black film.  So I think I will get it but not sure yet but I want it but I don't think I should be spending so much... so I don't know yet.



I'm watching Bob Ross while writing this post.  He has a very soothing and relaxed voice.  I will honestly say I sort of remember him but not really.  I looked him up after a joke that Katya made and it goes like this... I believe it was the great American painter Bob Ross who said, 'The key to a swollen vagina is... courage.' after that I looked him up.  He does look familiar and seem to remember seeing it on tv before.  Anyway, it is relaxing to just listen to him talk, it is like some weird vacation commercial or some indulgent ice cream commercial.  I think he invented ASMR to be quite honest.  The brush strokes and thumping it feels so much like listening to an ASMR video.  Combined with his chill and relax commentaries I can see why the show lasted so long aside from the creativity and talents of Bob.

20181209 - Cold Cold Black Cold Tart

I'm cold, the night is dark and I want tarts. 

I got some more on sale games for my Nintendo Switch.  Building up that library and breaking up that bank obviously.  I'm always keeping on watch on those deals.  Sometimes from the Japanese eshop and sometimes from US eshop, whichever cost less after converted.  Gotta be smart when spending them money because we ain't got much.  Work hard, pay the bills and spend some for fun.

I have Sophie Ellis Bextor on repeat for the passed week.  I love her songs.  Its not only dancy but also soulful and thats why I love her songs.  Plus she has a lower pitch so it is always good to the ear unlike the high pitch idols. She is coming up with her greatest hits too.  Re-sung and classical.  I have heard her do it on BBC I think and she was good too.


Oh cool, while I am typing this I got an email upload update from YouTube.  And guess who it is... Utada F-ing Hikaru!!!  A little taste of "Face my fears" is uploaded.  Hikki is still one of the best song writers and singers.  The beats I don't know if it was even needed but it was a collaboration.  To be honest, Hikki's parts though... could have just been a ballad instead or like her usual song.  I understand it is the theme song for Kingdom Hearts so it needs to be techno remix of some concoction.  Anyway,  I like it.  I love Hikki, so happy she is back and I get to enjoy her music again especially her solo stuff... can't really say the same for some of her collaborations.

20181207 - Gotta Gotta Didn't Catch them All

So today I went to Shamshuipo and pretty much was on a shopping spree.  

First, I got the Pokemon Amiibos.  I already have regular Pikachu, and since the re-issue of some Pokemon Amiibos; I thought I should complete the set and collect them all.  But First!  I got Ridley, an addition to my Metroid collection.  Ridlety is the iconic enemy on the franchise.  He is a winged Dinosaur slash Pterodactyl slash; this one I don't get, Pirate.  How is that a Pirate???  Anyway, next is the re-issue of the original Megaman Amiibo for Smash Bros.  I couldn't find it anywhere but when I found out a re-issue was in the future (or this present)  I just waited and now have it.  Ok, got that out of the way back to Pokemon Amiibos.  So I got 3 of them, Charizard, Jigglypuff and Mewtwo.  I thought "Oh no, I'm missing one".  Luckily the store next door has Greninja.  Feeling proud of myself for that all I need last was Detective Pikachu.  Low and Behold... I found out there is a Lucario fucking Amiibo.  AARRRGGHHH I was so annoyed I didn't know!!!  If I did I would have looked for it while I was at Shamshuipo... anyway.  There is still Wanchai hopefully I can get it there.


I also got a 4TB external Hard Disk because with all the video editing and video capture.  Mama needs more storage.  I got an ADATA slim.  Default format is Windows.  I guess I work in IT so I know I can use it on a Mac.  I mean not everybody knows they can just format the HDD from Windows File System to Apple File System or vice versa.  So I have more storage, now I need more enthusiasm to do more creative projects.  I also got crystals!!!  I found a store that were selling cheap ones or more like the price I would pay.  So I got 3 small stone shaped Amethyst because they cost only HKD20 each unlike the ball one which was HKD150.  A Citrine ball for HKD60 and a Rose Quartz Ball for HKD70.  So these are the prices that I would pay unlike the other stores in Yuen Long which were asking almost HKD400 for each Crystal Ball.  So my Spiritual corner of the house is slowly building up and I hope good energy comes from it.

Smash Brothers for the Wii... err I mean Switch... comes out today.  I'm still not sure if I will get it.  I played it before but I didn't really understand the mechanics or actually the moves system much.  The graphics are great as well as the crossovers.  I guess the crossovers is the best part of the game.  Being able to pit different characters from different games is a dream for most people.  I do like most of the new characters they added.  Mostly the old school characters like Castlevania...   Hmm  I thought it would be a long list.  Anyway.  It is a fun game though playing with other people I feel is better.  I might or maybe not, I don't know, maybe on a sale I might or after a few days.


It is a rainy day and I think I am coming down with a cold.  I took some Neozep tonight.  It will help with the cold and also get me sleepy as well.  So all in all a win win win chicken din.

20181206 - Bears Bears Bare Bears

Today was shopping day I guess.  I went to get essentials and some not so essential stuff.  So a new Muji has opened close by and I got my toning water.  I like their toning water its almost close to water and for my lazy ass it is perfect because just spray and rub then your done.  I then finish my inexistent-beauty regime with moisturizing serum.  A lot of moisturizing, I know and you should too to take care of that old face.  Also got a couple of stuff from Muji.  It is a pricey store though.  They charge more than most stuff.


Wanted to get some caffeine kick from Starbucks but all the seats were taken.  We wanted to walk around at first but we saw Crostini right across so we there instead.  They didn't have soy-milk option which surprisingly in Hong Kong is very common.  If it is not the big ones like Starbucks, Pacific or McCafe they do not have soy milk options.  It is not for me though, I don't have lactose intolerance.  Ordered a french Cheesecake.  Though it tasted great the graham cracker crust was so hard and the red jelly cover was not easy to cut through. The Coffee Mascarpone was a lot better, the texture and was softer to cut through.



So I finally got the 3 Bare Bears in a T-shirt.  They are so cute I thought of putting them behind the head rests of the back seat so they face outwards.  It will give my car more fun and cuteness.  Speaking of cuteness, there are 2 dogs in the village that are so cute.  They are black kinda like a furry Rottweiler mix.  Their owner is also very friendly and very buff.  I ran into them a couple of times when I was customising the faux leather seat cover of my car which I finally completed.  It has been sitting in my car for a while now.  It is finally done.  I could still do some more changes here and there but so far it is pretty much done.


The holidays are coming, overtime is coming and the craziness will ensue.  I don't have a new Creating Art this month yet... I guess I am too busy to be inspired or have a random idea to dribble and record.  Maybe I will somewhere along the month and upload it but so far I guess the enthusiasm is missing.
