I am venturing into a new project... I'm diving into the world of comic strips. As suggested my brother, because of my sarcastic personality that can either go funny or offensive. I have made a few comic strips before but nothing regular or ever I put out. Another suggestion is also to make a sort of horror story short because I love horror videos and stuff. I would but making this comic strip would be easier for now.
I already came up with the idea and name. The title is BFFL - Burger French Fries Lemonade as coined by Willam and I checked no comic is of that name yet. Honestly, I'm not sure if this will be funny or serious but I believe it will be very bland all throughout. LOL. My main objective is to just put something out there that reflects my daily humor, nothing wrong with sharing little jokes. I do have to put a disclaimer that I do have a very sex-based kind of humor, so if you are not into that then this is not for you. I will try to push the boundary a little, but not so much obvious or in your face... I'm still bounded by the terms of Google. Don't want my website to be pulled out. As most comic strips, I will be using a 3-panel comic strip.
So I came up with a couple of characters already. The first main character is K-Bo, a drug addicted former child star. Physically, I made him look like a homeless Mary Kate Olsen also I want play with the idea of headpieces for K-Bo (Looking at K-Bo now, I can see my Daria influence as well). The whole picture is still playing in my head for now but for sure I will add regular pedestrian characters that will interact with K-Bo.
Now since this is going to be a regular publish, I do need to make more strips available because I am very lazy. So if it does kick in, I have backups to publish. The plan so far is to make it a weekly thing, I do have a job and this is just a hobby, because bi-weekly might be too much of a pressure. Who knows? I might create another strip then my site will have a bi-weekly publish. Wednesdays would probably be my choice of publish day... It used to be my day-off and aside from Friday, it's also considered one of the darker days.
I will probably start publishing it at the end of this month or next month, April. Why not now you ask? It is because I have to add a new page on my website and stuff needs to be moved around. It is fairly easy to modify the site but the design is the difficult part. Also like I said I have to have my backups ready as well so in the long run I wouldn't have a long blank period.
So I'm hoping this works out, even if it doesn't I will still continue to do it because its all about me anyways. LOL
