Drawing out of watching TV shows

I'm a bit lazy to actually blog but I need to do a regular post and kick away procrastination. So. I will do a post about my drawings that are inspired by TV shows I watch. Mostly from RPDR and other pop culture icons.

Almost... Almost...

I'm almost done trying, I've been trying for more than 5 years now and I think I am almost done trying and just call it a day. Remember the saying lower your expectations so you won't have too much disappointment in life; does it apply if you are unhappy? Ok reader discretion. Yes, this is a depressing post because that's what I'm feeling right now. I know I'm a jack of all trades, I can learn anything and give a satisfying job; not perfect just satisfactory. I'm not an expert on anything at all. I've been on different jobs, I've adapted on different environment, different industries. I even survived living, learning Cantonese and living on my own in Hong Kong. But somehow, I'm not satisfied where I am. I'm not contented I feel that something is wrong and I don't belong. I know I'm stuck where I am and I feel it too; it is like even how much I try I am still gonna be stuck. Fate. Destiny has already planned and decided. I am like Winnie the Pooh stuck on that god damn tree! Today I bought a US phone number from Skype. After buying it and getting back home though, now I feel it's a wasted investment. It's like yeah, I have a contact number but its not really gonna change anything.

Anyways let us work our way into a cheery mood. I'm addicted to a new game my colleague introduced. It's in Chinese but I can get around. I have to clarify though that I can't red proper Chinese, I can read food menu so I won't starve to death. I can also read some characters but don't ask me what it means because I don't know what it means. Back to the game. It is called Tower of Something... Tower of Saviors! It's like. Mix of Bejeweled , Pokemon and Yu Gi Oh. It has monsters, Pokemon, the monster are presented as cards, Yu Gi Oh, and you play with Gems by placing gems to form 3 row and columns, Bejeweled, each clear makes the monsters attack. So there are 5 monster types and is represented by colors, so if you clear a jewel crystal the color of that crystal triggers monster of the same color/type to attack. Does that makes sense? Occasionally, you get a monster's card, you can use it to level up the monster in your lineup. There is a bit of Dragon Quest in it, where like Dragon Quest if you go into a new location and you don't beef up the enemies can kill you with just one blow. I know it's tedious and frustrating to level up but it's how they keep the game exciting and make you to play longer.

I haven't drawn anything or I should say completed any drawing this week, I did a couple of dribbles but nothing I finished. I think I need to go on a trip but the pocket is quite tight recently so No... no... No... You stay home. I don't want to go to Singapore again, I've been going there at least once for the past, or at least, 3 years. I think I go there because I did dream of working there. Originally, I wanted to apply for RBS in Singapore because back in the days RBS was on top of its game and was a reputable company. Ironically, I was hired by RBS but here in Hong Kong. It wasn't a completely a good experience, but lets be honest there is no such thing as the perfect work environment. I was thinking of going back to SF, then I thought. Am I doing it again? Do I want to spend vacation there to relax or because secretly I want to live and work there? I have 3 months left before I reach the big three-zero! 3 months left to live in a dream before I have to wake to reality and work towards my retirement. The way the economy is going and my spending trend... I should be realistic. I think I have pretty much used up my lifelines. Most of the stuff I dreamed of, I've pretty much gotten. I'm thankful for it but I'm not gonna lie, I had to pay a lot after achieving them. The other day, a bird pooped on my shoulder. In the culture I came from, they say it is lucky whether or not it is true we will see. I hope I don't get the H7N9 flying about.

Anybody know the song "Turn Me On" by David Guetta and Nicki Minaj? It's exactly what I need right now. I need something to turn me back on, energize my psyche and be super productive. But for now, all I can do is wallow and occasionally vent out. I think a lot people don't understand the process if venting. When I vent I don't need any response or advise or basically anything. I just want to let my feelings out point blank and if you are there when I'm venting I just want some one to be there that's all. Giving advise or persuading me is pointless because I am aware of what I should be doing so repeating it to me will just get my engines going. It's a roller coaster of emotions, my rationale and my heart battling it out. Going back to where I started on this post, the biggest question I want to answer is "what am I really trying to do?". A lot of the stuff I'm trying to do, I don't really have a clear vision of where or why I want it. But all I can say now is just... SIGH.

Enough ranting and complaining! Tomorrow is another day hope it has better news.

Why is there a pro in procrastination?

Procrastination is what I'm doing lately as usual. I've been watching a lot of Grand Designs via Tudou. I have a few favorites like the woodsman cottage built the traditional way and materials. I also like the barn conversion with treehouse inside. Before the water tower conversion in London was my favorite but after watching the woodsman cottage, it's my new favorite. I like it very much because its was a man with modest dreams, he didn't have much money, he didn't have modern conveniences but his determination was so inspiring. He cut the sweet chestnut wood from the forest in his land and the plaster that he used was clay dug out of his pond. He didn't hire contractors, on site architect nor a project manager. He did ask an architect to help him design the house and recruited volunteers to help him build the house. A but hippie like with the volunteers but he is definitely a man of poverty; excuse my language. It's all this simplicity and kind of gives that nostalgia feeling when the world was very simple. A world when humans build with their hands and their own strengths without complicated machinery. Watching Grand Designs, I do feel of dreaming of building my own house but I do have a dream of living in a Victorian House with a small backyard.

Moving on, RPDR is now on their last 3 queens. I will skip the previous episode, all I can say is Coco went home! Finally! This week the main challenge had the queens make looks out of candy or inspired by it. I like this episode of each season because it challenges the queens creativity. But before that lets talk about more of the episode. The mini challenge they were do a bitch fest, puppet style as they did last season. Alaska won the mini challenge and won a 15 seconds head start on diving into the materials. Jinkx' narcolepsy starts to kick in while she was doing her outfit. Alaska's outfit starts to fall apart before they walked into the runway. How she pulled it off? I'm not sure but in the ending theme you can see it start to rip apart.

Roxxxy was very confident on this challenge because she was a seamstress but doesn't mean she's a designer. She gunning for Jinkx; it was obvious that Roxxxy is no longer thinking when she's talking. She questions Jinkx talents such as singing, acting and performing further adding that those are not what the next superstar should be doing. Thinking back though, RuPaul was a singer, made movies and was a TV talk show host. Well well well think before you say anything. At this point it was also obvious that Roxxxy and Detox are just pulling each other's wieners. The saying "your best friend is your worst enemy" applies here, because they just compliment each other; gone blind in guiding each other to the right direction.

Lets cut it short, Alaska won the main challenge but I do feel like she looks like Raja's Hair Extravaganza look; Cotton Candy bitches. I liked her cougar look very well executed and thought out. she was in character in all 3 looks. Jinkx's look I think is more avant-garde but may not be well executed; it does have the potential to be a great look. She wanted to be a reindeer wrapped in Christmas candy. Roxxxy's look was ok but not really a "couture" look, it looks as used a lot of times on the show; it looks pedestrian. She is probably safe because of the whole line up that she prepared. Detox did her "Nothing's gonna stop us now" look for her executive look. Her couture look... Well it looks like a traffic sign. And so, Detox and Jinkx were in the bottom. Jinkx really worked it and deserved to stay. I can't wait for the finale, I'm hoping for Alaska and Jinkx on top 2. Alaska now is the only queen who didn't have to lip sync for her life so she could win this one. Jinkx is super talented and endearing so she has a huge potential to win as well.

So what else can we talk about? I am so tempted to buy a Wii U! But I don't see any good games yet. I watched a video about Zombi U but the review it got was bad though. The only game I can see playing with it at the moment is Super Mario Bros. U and Batman Arkham City. I do have Zelda Skyward Sword for Wii so I guess I can play that. The Wii U doesn't play DVD or Bluray videos so it can't pass as an entertainment machine. I have been reading about how to jailbreak it. The Wii U system can't be jail broken yet but the Wii system can be hacked in to. There are a few great games that came out for the 3DS, Luigi's Mansion and Castlevania. So difficult to control my spending because it could spin out of control and that's is not good.

Just an update on BFFL, I did say I will post the first strip early April. I haven't made any new strips so I'm not so feeling a publication yet. Also my first strip I feel is a bit cliche so I'm thinking of making a another strip to be the first in publication. I am thinking of publishing April 24 so it would be like 4-24, if not I will publish next month May 15 so it's 5-15. Forget the year, it's making it more complicated LOL. I guess that's it for now. See you soon bitches!

The Library is Open

Did you miss me? Lol. On today's post I thought maybe we could do a little reading (judging/criticizing/making fun) of some posters and advertisements I've seen the past couple of months. This will be a very short post but as usual a lot of pictures.

First, let us look at a advertisement poster for J-Men. So what is J-Men, it is a fashion magazine that focuses on male fashion, so shortly and obviously it's about Style. As you can see, it says the Style issue... What? So were they fooling their readers the whole time? That they were not really a fashion magazine. Are they trying to make their readers/demographic to think they are a magazine about woodworking and automobiles? Then all of a sudden they decided to do an issue advising about styling. Seriously.

Now this artist I've never heard of not even the band they are trying to use to pull in an audience. One thing I have to say when your poster says you are a former member of a group; it means you bombed as a solo artist and you should have never done so in the first place. It's a huge cry for attention and its like the last resort. I would also like to point out; that is fucking expensive for an artist who didn't make it huge as a solo artist. Lets cut the shit, having that "Ex-" and "Former member of" in the poster, that ticket price should be two thirds less. It shameful, lets be honest.

Lets go Hollywood and take a look at a movie poster that has quite a few huge names. Only that, I'm quite sure the person in the picture is Halle Berry and not Richard Gere. Also I didn't know Jackass star Johnny Knoxville was also the male lead star of Pretty Woman. Yes, I know it was consistent on the whole poster that no name matched the pictures but seeing this in a non-English country. It causes confusion.

I know I'm being harsh on people who are weaker than me in the English language but in this age of copy/paste. When everybody has access to mobile data, everybody has a mobile phone and computer. Seriously, you can't use spell checker, have you ever heard of a website called Google? Then they would say "oh, but I don't know how to write or convey my ideas in English". Bitch, Please! There's translator in every website now and in almost all language.

It is really quite sad to see the new generation of advertisers, public figures or even the direction veterans and seasoned professionals has taken. It's like dumb is in, it doesn't matter how hard you work and how much dedication you put into your profession. It's all about who is the dumbest because it is just what counts. It's a sad to think about it that these are the role models the new younger generation is aspiring to. Actually not just public figures, it is everywhere. Even in offices or any work there are those assholes who act as if they know a lot and disappear when they are required to work. Bluffs, bull shits and just plain incompetent. These are very discouraging to people who really work hard because these assholes always gets their way. The only reason I can think of why that is. It is because they work for an asshole as well.

Anyways I think we have left the fun insult territory. So lets call it a night before I become the bitch that I am LOL.

Monsoon monsoon

Hey everybody I'm back, I know it's been 3 days. It's was a stormy Hong Kong the past few days. Very wet and scary as well. There was strong winds, lightning storm everywhere and rain. The scariest part was when I looked out the window, there was fog everywhere and you can see lightning just come out of it. It was like watching a horror movie of some sort. The strong winds and rain also worked up my plants. There were soil blown around my balcony so I had to clean that this afternoon. Also since it was so wet I bought a dehumidifier. I got one by Midea, it also has a Air-ionizing function which cleans the air; I think but all new models has this function. It wasn't the first machine I got, originally I got a smaller one by Imarflex but after I got it home, turned it on after 3 minutes it died. I was a little pissed so I took it back and asked for a different one because if it died so quickly the replacement will have a high probability of quickly dying as well. So I got the Midea one, bigger than the Imarflex and its the only one in stock. The Midea one is working properly but the weather seems to have dried a bit now because there isn't that much water sucked into it. I guess I can use it as an air-cleaner.

Talking about storms and monsoon, I am finally gonna write about RPDR 5 and this week Jinkx Monsoon won the challenge. So mini-challenge, the crying game. Everybody was asked to put on mascara and form a sharing circle then cry on queue. Alaska and Jinkx were very funny especially Jinkx who was over the top and made Alaska laugh. Coco... Go home. Totally incompetent. Detox shared a real life experience about his boyfriend dying 2 years ago. She couldn't control her feelings and really cried. So the winners were Alyssa and Detox. The main challenge was to create a Latino Telenovela. So Detox and Alyssa were team captains. Detox reunited Rolaskatox, while Alyssa ended up with Jinkx and Coco who she has very high tension with (but I think she and Coco were paid to pretend to have drama). Alyssa sucked so bad, also I don't what is with the patent girls. They keep copying styles from queens of past season. I previously noticed Coco's copying Chad and Bebe's. Alyssa seems to copied Tatiana for the main challenge.

On the runway, they were all ask to be Latina. Jinkx did a Día de Muertos look where she painted her face with a skull and it was a very great look. If I didn't like anything about it, probably the nose because it looks more an animal than a skull. Detox' didn't look grand enough, I liked the hat though. So Detox, Alyssa and Coco were low while Jinkx won the challenge. I honestly think they saved this lip sync for your life because it was Alyssa against Coco. It was probably for the drama because Alyssa could have been eliminated a 2 episodes ago but they let her stay up until Coco messed up as well so they can duel. I was rooting for another double elimination because I hate them both, totally unprofessional, their references are clearly not enough and they always whine and complain about their inability to perform the challenge. That said, Alyssa was sent home and Coco got to stay... Boo! Next week they are going to dress up military veterans so I hope Coco goes home next. I do see Jinkx and Alaska in top 3 at least.

I've been recreating my iTunes library because I moved all my media files to an external hard disk. So I have to re-import them and add them back to their respective playlists. Why? I need to do it so I can AirPlay them to my Apple TV then to the living room TV. I haven't done the animated/ cartoons/ anime videos yet. I have my live-action TV shows and specials, so I am re-watching my shows again. I think I will download and watch Modern Family and Big Bang Theory. I delayed watching them because they always have this element of wanting more after each episode. I didn't want that so I kinda waited a little so I could watch episodes and not have to wait for the next one. I have also rebuilt my mp3 library, I have my music back! It's been awhile. I can play from my devices but it feels better from my Mac especially when I am browsing the Internet or doing my drawings. Speaking of drawings, I did some colored drawings today. It has been awhile since I did one I don't think I've been better but it's nice to use my color pencils once in awhile. I was asked to do a little artwork but I'm not sure if I can deliver though.

What else? I've been drinking tea the past week as part of my new diet. I did read a few diet articles online and they advices to drink green tea. I don't have green tea at home so I drink jasmine. We do have green tea at work so stash a pack for myself. I bought groceries again yesterday. I bought celery and spaghetti sauce to dip it in, I'm not a big fan of it but can pass by. I am a bit pissed about a couple of price related items. First are blueberries, as you remember I started added them on my fruit shake. Last week I bought a pack at Wellcome Supermarket for $15 then today I went to Park n Shop it was just $9.90... WTF Wellcome. Then also for my shake, I use low sugar Soy Milk. Price for that has gone up as well. Last week it was 2 for $15.90, yesterday it was $9 each... Ouch! On a better note though I feel better about my body because I feel it's starting to lose a little of the buffer weight. Remember the buffer weight, it's the first 5-10 lbs, is very easy to lose. After that the second 10 lbs is a lot of hard work to really start losing the weight. Lets just hope I continue to work harder in losing weight, sadly I made and had macaroni pasta this afternoon because I was really hungry... LOL

Lets leave it at that for now, tomorrow starts work again... I do wish some follow through would happen because I've been contacted but it was always but they get back to me... So, I'm sad about that. Anyways, think positive and love food LOL.

It's a wet day again for watching ghosts

Today is Ching Ming Festival in Hong Kong. One of the days in the year when people here go visit cemeteries and pay respects to their lovely departed. I didn't mainly because we went a few weeks early to avoid the crowd. Cemeteries are limited in Hong Kong so on this kind of occasions they are packed and loaded with people. Especially old people. I know I will be old in the future as well but you will agree old people can get very annoying. They always run in front of you then when they are in front of you they suddenly become weak and withered again. WTF?!?. They block the way, they whine and just won't shut up. Hong Kong is all slopes. Most of the places are on the slopes of mountains. Fortunately, my place isn't. Can you just imagine old people climbing slopes with a huge crowd all over? You suddenly have the urge to push and just get people to give way. I am notorious for faking the push, pretending I was pushed as well but in reality I was the one pushing.

Speaking of departed, I downloaded an app called Ghost-O-Meter. The app is supposed to pick up paranormal activity, in technical term a P.K.E meter. As you all probably figured out by now, I have this sort of obsession with ghost or paranormal videos. I may not do one myself because I am afraid of paranormality. I do enjoy the mystery, that sense of the unknown existing fascinates me because knowledge do at times scare me. I downloaded this app because i have been hearing a lot of stuff around the apartment. There are the usual which i debunk as coming from the upper or lower floors. I would hear door creeks and footsteps. Some of the experiences I had I cant explain. I heard a man crying, I checked my flatmate and he was sleeping at that time. Also cold spots would appear next to me at times as well just small round spots that feel cold. At the office, I always feel this shadow or entity behind me that would take a look at what I'm doing but when I turn around nothing is there. So that's my back story, lets talk about the app. The interface looks like an old meter gauge with lights in the middle. So I'm not really sure which components the app use but I'm sure it uses the gyro meter for location. There is one component which I don't really understand its use. If you notice on the screenshot there is a huge lightbulb on top of the meter. At first, I thought that is an indicator as well if there is a strong reading. I was wrong because there was one time the needle was only at the lowest graph and the light bulb was full on bright. So I'm not sure what its for, most likely just an aesthetic addition.

I want to try it at work but it is noisy, the app projects white noises which are not quiet and you can't mute it so it can capture attention. I moved around my apartment with it. The meter didn't go into the 1-4 boxes of gauge basically the highest reading but the needle did touch the edge. App will continue to pick up signals for a few minutes then it will stop and give you a summary of "Ghost Activities". On my first try it reported to have detected 3 ghosts, then 5 on my next try. I'm not sure if its the real thing but I did noticed that a couple of times there's a strong reading when I turn around. Also there is a picture that has a strong reading. I do have to say, also indicated by the developer, this app for entertainment so don't rely on it as a proper ghost detecting device. If you do want to go on paranormal investigation, look up EMF, EVP and cameras with infra-red and night vision modes. Last words on this app, it is a cool app. A bit eerie and creepy but it is an entertaining app it can set the ghostly atmosphere because of the white noise it makes. I do recommend this app, it's costs $1.99 from the App Store its good fun for that chill.

I am loving my new marpet, I laid it in my living room where I usually do my posting. I am laying on it whilst writing this post. Ok so... Lets talk more ghosts. A new episode of My Ghost Story has finally showed up. The new episode features 2 bikers/writers (wait, wait, wait, I know right? Sounds suspiciously fake) their story was that they move around the country. They go to cemeteries for insipiration, and you are a like "of course you can capture something there, it's a cemetery!". First segment was about this old mill that manufacture talcum powder. They got some evil EVP's but it does sound robotic so I'm not sure if its real. There was laugh but I feel, after watching it a couple of times, was reused from an old episode. Another segment was about an ex-husband that still haunts his family. This one is different from the jealous obsessive dead wife. This ghost is protecting his family from another entity in the house which basically killed him in the first place by forcing him into suicide. The last segment was about sisters with psychic powers and can see ghosts since they were young. Their story was about a car crash and the victim hanging out with one of the sisters. I'm quite not totally happy with this episode but it is better than the Canadian phony baloney.

So that's the story so far, I do want to try more Ghost apps. The App Store has some apps focusing on EVP's. I'm intrigue and a bit scared as well. I've always wanted try EVP, you never know what you will hear talking back at you. When I do, I will write about it.

I went to visit my Swedish friend called IKEA

Wassup? How is everybody? No, I don't really care. So as the rainy Hong Kong Spring season goes on, everything feels so lazy, dark and gloomy. I'm making a new YouTube video as I'm writing this post. The video I'm making is from Lombard Street when I went to San Francisco, CA last year. I'll tell you more when I finish the video and talk more about it on my next post. LOL. What else? I went to my Swedish best friend's store today, a place called IKEA LOL. I love IKEA, I would probably buy the whole store if I were super rich. I love the sort of minimalist and convenient styles on the products they sell. I also love interior designing, I'm not very good but I like to browse through their store. Muji also has this minimalist style on a Japanese point of view, lots of black and white as well as more expensive than IKEA. As colors I prefer IKEA because they have a wider range of colors and design. That said if I own a flat expect it to be an IKEA Catalogue, but I will probably get some of the customer-made cabinets.

I went to the Shatin store because I think it's closer to my place to travel rather than the Causeway Bay store where it's a long travel going home carrying heavy shopping. I didn't stay too long, as I've said I'm afraid I might buy too much. The Shatin store has 3 floors, you start at the top then work your way down. I didn't take a picture inside because it looks weird, me alone taking pictures inside IKEA. More like a sad sight. I like going through their concept rooms, they have bed rooms, living rooms, kitchen and office space. So what did I got from IKEA? First, I got a shoe horn. First thing I saw, then I remembered my flat mate needed one so I got it quickly. Second, I got tissues because I need refill. Walking around, I made it to the kitchen section, plates, cups and all things kitchens. So I got 2 new medium size bowls because I like the ceramic ones instead of plastic. My main objective was to get a picture frame to complete my set on top of my TV.

So before I got to the picture frames I got to the mats and carpets so I got this long cheap mat. I thought I can use it for my Zumba because my wooden floor tend to burn the bottom of my feet. Also, it's nice to sit on especially now that I am writing this post. Talking of Zumba, a little Segway, my asshole was screaming shit three-quarters into the routine LOL. So I got this marpet, I call it marpet now because its a mat but it feels like a carpet. I did want to look at more stuff but the more I get into it the more I crave to buy stuff I don't need and that's not good. Oh before I move on, the only thing I hate about IKEA are their small carts. Those carts are difficult to control, it has a flag for tall people to maneuver but the stick was too loose. I kicked it or caught my foot a couple of times. Then I got my picture frame because I was missing one. Before I got to the warehouse prior to the cashier, there are mirrors. I got another set of square mirrors to extend the current set on my living room. So now I have 8. I quickly walked away from the warehouse after that because they also have displays and sometimes they put discounted stuff around the warehouse. As a normal consumer the words "sale", "discount" and "off" really catches your attention. So I ran to the cashier and paid for my shopping.

I'm thinking whether or not I'll write about RPDR on this post. I think I will write the new episode tomorrow instead. I will write about my drawings instead. Some changes been happening with my artwork lately. I'm using regular pencils, paint brush for blending and highlighters. Yes, highlighter. I'm using highlighters on my drawings mainly because I brought home my color pencils and they are no longer at work. I draw a lot at work these days than at home and since I don't have my color pencils; highlighters are my only option. To be fair though, they do give a good effect on my drawings and they are easy to work with when I use my photo editing apps. Obviously, I use the highlighters to color solid parts of drawings and I can't use them for blushings. My Tim Burton inspired drawings are still on going and has evolve further. I do feel a sort of story going on with the pattern but I'm not a proper writer so story writing is not my forte so to speak.

I do like the effect the highlighters do when I put them into color manipulation. It's as if I selected the area and changed the color but actually I didn't. It is also interesting that the photo editing apps I use on my iPhone literally focuses color change on the parts with the highlights on them. You can see below the swimsuit and shoes of my Betty Boob-esque bunny girl, they change colors. It does save me more time than when I use actual color pencils. Check out my Instagram account to see a lot more of my artwork with after-effects of course, and my Facebook account for the pure un-edited versions. You can click the icons below to access my respective social media personas.

My writing I think has leveled up again. I am now averaging 1000 words per post a jump from my 700 average. It's a good sign that I'm improving and I'm enjoying blogging now. I still don't think I would do a dedicated topic post because I treat my blog as my sort of diary so I will continue to do summaries of my day instead. I will leave you with Day 3 of 2013 NA tour video. I get paid on this one so keep watching! LOL.

Easter Fool's Day

Hello Everybody! Hello Dr. Nick! So today I'd the last day of the 4-day long weekend. Coincidentally today is Easter Monday and April Fool's day. If that's so; do you call today as Easter Fool's day? LOL. I didn't do any fooling around nor anything Easter-y. First, I don't have much money for play so I stayed at home... Alone. Also its been a rainy Hong Kong; so lazy to go out. Second, I'm not Christian or Catholic anymore; I only do Christmas because its a game to me now that is fun to play. Talking more about holidays another one is coming up this Thursday. Ching Ming festival where Hong Kong-ese visit the departed.

So what have I been doing the past 4-days? As I've said last time , day 1 I went grocery shopping. Day 2 I went to my colleague's wedding. It was a lunch buffet... An all-you-can eat buffet. Quite sad when I'm on this diet, I can't eat too much. I did liked this mushroom salad. It's a mix of different mushrooms and with this sort of soy-saucy dressing but it wasn't salty. I didn't take a picture which looking back I didn't take that much food pictures. But I always do on previous events, probably because I'm on diet and I don't want to drool and crave. Now if you all remember I did make a sort of deal about what I was gonna wear. I went shopping the day before for this red shirt with very small plaid design. I was looking for red with tiny white polka dots but that was the closest I can get and it was on discount too. So my whole getup was the red shirt, blue pants, blue suspenders, a silver tie and a hat. It didn't dawn on me when it was brewing in my head but when I got the whole look together I looked like Mario. We were supposed to go karaoke afterwards because we were done by 15:00 but everybody was ill. Either ill already or starting to be.

Day 3, I went grocery shopping again after doing my bank run. So I added some changes to my current diet. Lets look back first, my current diet includes, fruit shake for breakfast, lunch either healthy (subway or kebab) or a full meal, then another fruit shake and egg (or egg salad sandwich) for dinner. I added blueberries for my fruit shake. My recipe before was soy milk, banana and protein powder (not the body builder one, just for shakes) and now with blueberries. I was expecting a bit of zest from it but I didn't get any. A lot of people do say that blueberries are good for a lot reasons like its blue, it's a berry and Starbucks sells it with their cheesecake LOL.

Then I bought a lot of instant oatmeals which I am experimenting for now based on the taste that will replace my lunch. I got all Quacker, which costs about HK$ 20-30 for 5 packs. So I got chicken and mushroom flavor, corn, ham and cheese flavor and strawberry flavor. I had the chicken and mushroom flavor for lunch today I added more salt because it didn't have any taste. I know, I know, I'm not supposed to but it did bring the flavor out and I liked it. I will definitely buy that next time. I also have a sandwich together with the oatmeal that is why I think I didn't feel hungry. I also have some kernel corns left so I might add it as suggested on the box. I have been drinking a lot of tea the past 2 days as well. To detoxify my body; get the toxins out and clean the body. I was thinking of buying avocados for my fruit shake but I didn't because they are a bit pricey; HK$7 each and it's not even a big avocado!

I have started my Spring Cleaning. I rearrange my kitchen, cleaned out some crap in my room like winger clothes and duvet. I was able to clean the toilet as well did some mopping as well on the rest of the house. I added some antiseptic liquid and Clorox... Bleach! I forgot what Clorox is actually called because Clorox is the product name and not the product. So I mopped the floors to disinfect and kill some germs and bugs that human eyes can't see. I haven't finished cleaning and sorting the place but I will get there. I changed my bed sheets and washed the dirty ones as well as do laundry. I also did some redecorating while I was procrastinating my cleaning. I've added pictures above my TV which I really like but I'm missing 1 more and I only have 2. So first picture I put up is the Golden Gate Bridge of San Francisco. Second picture is the Buddhist Temple of Singapore. Why did I choose this 2 picture? It's because I dreamt of working in either of the countries/cities.

Of course while I'm cleaning (actually sitting and laying about) I am watching TV shows which comprise of Grand Designs, Miranda, The New Yankee workshop and Ghost Hunters. I'm re-watching a lot of Grand Designs, I think I will make more posts on some of the episodes which features houses or construction that I like. I didn't like Restoration Home and Restoration Man, mainly because there are too much crap and gimmicks. Unlike Grand Designs, the 2 other shows focuses too much on the gay guy and girl dweeb going through the history of the place they are covering which is very annoying. Same goes for Restoration Man it even has the dude make fake drawing or pretend he is drawing stuff. Not good. I prefer the Grand Design style where they focus on construction step by step. I think I will also write about Miranda because I am loving it, especially Gary he just cute and funny.

I used to watch the New Yankee Workshop when I was younger. The show is about woodwork featuring the craftsmanship of Norm Abraham. I was and still am, fascinated with the projects he does. It goes from Gazeboes and cabinets; just a lot of Woodwork. While watching the shows, I do feel like I want to be like Norm but after awhile there's too much work and I will just watch then buy from the local furniture shop LOL. Lastly, I just discovered Ghost Hunters which I found out is different from Ghost Adventures. The latter has an annoying cast and felt too fake. Ghost Hunters is like Ghost Adventures but with less testosterone and Arnold Schwarzenegger-ism. This show is sort of like My Ghost Story but with the actual following of the investigators. I think I will write more about some of the episodes on later posts with more details from the episodes.

So that's it for now, work starts again tomorrow which I'm dreading because it is a sandwich holiday which is always a bad feeling. It is because it feels like a holiday but it isn't and you have no choice but to work. Anyways... Have a good night and good... Wink wink!
