Bow-ties, Wheatgrass and Aloe Vera

Bow ties are back as it seems and I am having a drink of wheatgrass with Aloe vera. It's actually nice and has a good taste I don't know while people don't like it. It has a little sour taste probably because aloe vera has bland taste so that sort of washes away the sour taste a little bit. I've been watching a couple of new Home Restoration TV shows. I will go I to detail in a later post I will give this 2 shows a little more watching. Other than watching these shows online, I also went grocery shopping and also got a shirt for tomorrow. As I've said on my last post, I'm attending the wedding tomorrow and... yes! I'm wearing a bow-tie with suspenders as well. It's looking in my head but I don't know it will, even if it doesn't I don't care because I will feel good anyways. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

On a sad note... It's the last episode of The Big Reunion!!! Another great TV show has ended. On this episode it features the actual concert but not the full concert; some bits were not shown probably to boost DVD sales in May. Sort of the element of surprise. Kevin Simms is just amazing love his voice. Michelle Heaton tripped and cried. I love all the acts but I'm still not sure about Blue because they act like they're the main act when they are just the last minute addition. Duncan is getting gay-er and campy-er. They didn't show Honeyz's blue suit which they made a big deal about. I'm going for Lee's look tomorrow. I've always wanted to be a twink like Abz. I didnt like the costumes they made B*Witched wear. I'll just do the last 2 bands I haven't talked about; my favorites. Atomic Kitten and 911.

I don't why they didn't talk about the original line up of Atomic Kitten which is Liz, Kerry and... Wait for it.... Wait for it... Heidi Range. Yes! The Siobhan Donaghy replacement who Mutya Buena didn't like and kicked out Keisha off Sugababe. Then they recruited a new member Natasha Hamilton, I love her! She has great voice, wacky humor and red head. I did say I like red heads, yeah? When they are on the brink of getting drop, Kerry was dating Westlife-r Brian. Kerry also had a broken history and when she left the band to be with Brian that didn't last well also. She was replaced by Jenny Frost. I like a couple of songs that Atomic Kitten 3.0 released, "Be With You" and "Ladies Night". Natasha got pregnant then got post-natal depression which basically ended the band. Liz wasn't also on a good condition because she felt a fall out with Ntasha when Kerry was still in the band. Jenny was not a part of The Big Reunion because she is pregnant. Imagine if the four of them reunite to become a four piece Atomic Kitten. Kerry has become a reality star, she was with Jedward on Big Brother. Liz has become a full on entertainer, doing cooking shows and other TV stuff. Natasha has 3 kids and she is still skinny! I love her legs and bouncy hair. She has become a coffee shop owner opening 20 branches.

Then lastly, 911. I grew up with their music. We have their cassettes (yes, cassette tapes I was able to be in that period) of both their albums. The Journey and Moving On. I didn't get the 3rd and Greatest Hits; don't ask because I don't know probably more because I didn't like Lee's hair. Am I being shallow? Anyways. Jim was an alcoholic mess. Spike was a sexually hungry bastard as most people say, even Liberty X! Lee revealed he had beaten cancer twice, lost his hair and his confidence was broken. Jim and Spike has been working together for the longest time, dancing on a TV show. Then they decided to make boy band but they needed someone who can really sing. Comes in Lee. They were huge in the Philippines and topped the Asian charts as I remembered but they didn't have a #1 in the UK though. They were smart enough to ended it while they were on top. Like most bands, exhaustion and over partying has led them to breakup. After breaking up, Spike has his own dance school. Jim is now just a househusband. Lee married Lindsay from B*Witched. They separated in 2011 and Lee has gone into photography. They did have a comeback for a TV show in 2005 but not a proper reunion. It would be nice if they came back properly and release some new material.

So sad this show is done but I do have other shows I can watch such as Miranda. She is like the female Mr. Bean who talks. It's kinda weird that Miranda has a storyline about green card... RPDR comes back next Monday and when is the new My Ghost Story Episode showing?!?

MKS - My Kind of Sh*t

Today is another day and tomorrow, is PUBLIC HOLIDAY!!! Yes, tomorrow is Good Friday and is no work day in Hong Kong as well as Easter Monday. It is quite surprising that Hong Kong acknowledges Holy Week when a lot of people here are atheist, Buddhist, Taoist and something else other than Christians. Quite surprising that a certain country whose people always uses the Bible to argue and condemn science doesn't honor this holiday. Moving on, what else am I doing this weekend? I'm attending a wedding reception on Saturday of one of my colleagues, since it is a lunch banquet I suggested with my teammates to go karaoke afterwards. It's been awhile since we went to one so should be fun. I'm also trying to work out my outfit for that day, it has also been awhile since I dressed up. So I'm gonna out on a bow tie and straps and work it. When you think that four days of holiday isn't enough there is another one 2 days later when the country celebrates Ching Ming Festival! I think I wrote about the holidays on my last post... Who cares?!? It's holiday! Who wouldn't be excited?

Lets talk about my artwork so far. Well currently my artwork has been what I call Tim Burton inspired. Big eyes, head larger than body, disproportional body parts as well as gloomy or morbid I should say. To give you a reminder of who is Tim Burton, he was the guy who made "Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Corpse Bride". Oh right! The inspiration I'm referring to are the animated ones because he is also responsible for some live-action films, like Alice in Wonderland, and whole lot of Johnny Depp Movies. I haven't seen most of the Johnny Depp movies, my sister is an avid fan though she has most of his movies and probably seen them all. If only he can show the way to the chocolate factory.

I drew up 3 characters that has this aesthetic, and got me thinking if I should create a story about this characters or get a writer involved then I will provide illustrations. But I'm not a very outgoing person, my circle is small I don't know; no writer. That said if its bound to happen, I will bump into one. I have also drawn this weird looking old androgynous person. It kinda looks Rumpelstiltskin or that Halloween special of Happily Ever After TV show narrated by Pat Morita. As creepy and weird it may be, it seems to be one of the best drawings I've done so far. I don't think this is the first time I came up with this kind of design. At first, I was iffy about it and posted it on Facebook sans the paint brush and photo editing. Then, I did the paint brush effect and later when I got home I did the instagram effects. I have to say it is really one of my best. Last time, I came up with something great on my opinion was 2013 New Year's Day when I drew that crazy rabbit in a feather dress.

I've been listening nonstop to Mutya Keisha Siobhan (MKS) Lay down in Swimming Pools. I have to say it is truly Sugababes 1.0 at its finest and polished state. It was evident on the song the different influences and styles each member has embraced. Mutya's RnB and soul style of singing with her husky voice cover most of the verses and choruses. Keisha's pop and RnB style of singing gave the song a sort Beyoncé effect, she was more of the backup vocals on this one but she did good. Siobhan has a very left-field Alternative style of singing which brought in the bridge of the song before they sampled the original chorus of Swimming pools. It was a very clear style that she did on her second album Ghosts, which I think is a very good album but is definitely not for mainstream pop zombie listeners. I think Sugababes 1.0 was the true RnB girl group of that time over Honeyz. Too bad they can't join the Big Reunion because they all left (got fired) from the Sugababes, and the fake new lineup is holding onto the Sugababes name as if they created it. Yes, Heidi is a bitch. I am now truly enthusiastic and positive about MKS's new album; I can't wait to pre-order this album.

It's raining now and thunderstorm all about and around. It's been dark the past week, this spring in Hong Kong. All rain. Summer has less rain though even autumn, not much rain. While the rain is falling, I started to revive my Hackintosh. It has all my media files, movies and music; so I definitely had to revive it but took me 2 weeks to really do it because you know... I'm lazy LOL. It stopped working and prompted me that it is missing the mach_kernel file when it is indeed there... WTF. So I made a MyHack installer to open up the OSX installer and maybe try to restore my backup. That didn't work because Time Machine is saying that it was a different machine when it's the same one. So I have to do a reinstall of OSX. Thankfully enough, I didn't need to restore from backup because I didn't format the disk so all the files and applications are still there. The only thing is that the network card and audio are not working. I'm reinstalling KEXT files, it's the equivalent of drivers in Windows. I've got the network card working again but the audio is still not recognize so I'm installing from Multibeast.

I don't know what I will be doing tomorrow yet. I will do some Zumba definitely. Then probably go to Golden Center take a look around see what's new. I will definitely have some salmon sashimi as part of my low shit diet. I love salmon sashimi as well so win-win. I may watch some old Ring Movies as well I have the VCD copy. There's nothing like a good scare in this wet and gloomy weather.

Please don't revive Sadako

So today, I watched Sadako 3D during lunch time. My only comment afterwards is, please don't revive Sadako. It's not because she is evil and kills people, but because this iteration was very different from its predecessors. Before I go further lets talk about the original movie first.

The Ring, the original movie of the franchise is about a cursed video being passed around and anybody who watches it dies after 7 days. On the seventh day, the phone will ring and if you answer it no one is on the other line. Then the TV will turn on just showing static, you know when the station is closed, it will then switch to the well and Sadako slowly climbing out then out the TV to kill who watched it. The cursed video was awesome and really spooky! It goes from a man with a covered head pointing at something, people in pain crawling the streets to Sadako's mom brushing her hair then lastly the well where Sadako was pushed into. There was a lot of spook in the movie with the only special effect I could think of was when Sadako crawling out of the television. It may be the only special effect but it was enough to scare you to the bone. The main character of the story was trying to save her son who saw the video. Her husband was killed because she made him watch it together. She sought the history and found the well which she thought was the solution but it wasn't. The phones started ringing and the TV turning on. I won't spoil just watch the ending yourself.

Sadako 3D has a good enough story, not the best, not for a proper horror movie but for a zombie flick. What is it with current media that they are so obsessed with vampires and zombies? As I've said from my previous post, the story is about this guy who is trying to revive Sadako. The main character Akane is a teacher living with her artist boyfriend, actor Koji Seto who looks very yaoi and has crossed dress. The twist was that she was also psychic and has power to destroy stuff by screaming. I know, I know very common plot but they have to write it that way because Sadako was also psychic that people feared and her twin (as told on Ring 0) the evil one didn't have a body of her own; like a spirit. As with the original Ring movie, there is also a cursed video but instead of circulating via VHS; it was circulated on the net accesses through computers and mobile phones. The Japanese sure love live streaming, they had it on this one and another one I remember was with Confession. The cursed video would only appear at a certain time of day, when its not yet show time people will Error 404. The video shows the guy being choked to death by an invisible Sadako. This cursed video, SUCKED!!! It really sucked so bad, it doesn't even match the original video. It just shows guy floating in the air then when he was about to die it had a lot of zoom windows on his face... Failed! The reason on this movie why Sadako was killing people because she was looking for the appropriate new body. They were also able to find the well but a huge number of Sadako with long legs and short arms started coming out of the well. These creatures look like something that came from Silent Hill or Resident Evil. Totally not impressed. All in all, the beginning was strong; the ending bad especially when the Zombie Sadako can be killed with one blow! What's so scary about that?!?

(This is the Koji Seto not Satomi Ishihara, honestly he looks prettier)

What the hell?!! Banks sending me text messages to apply for loan. Total change of topic but its kind of annoying when you are wishing for something to contact you and what you get are telemarketers. I've been applying non stop in the past few months, I do get emails from a couple of agents but there are no follow through which is a pisser. I've pretty much gone through each post on job boards. Some positions I never even heard of. Fingers crossed that something happens in the upcoming month. We all want something better, I'm looking for something where I will feel happy and contented (with the same pay of course). I guess not just on the office environment but on my personal life as well. I don't know but Hong Kong has been too stressful and I've always found it difficult to be satisfied. I used to have the patience of a rock... But think positive something good might happen.

Moving on, Apple TV had a new update today. According to Apple's website, this update enables cloud music for Japanese accounts and also performance improvements. On the last update, they enabled the Apple TV to connect to Bluetooth keyboard which now thinking back I didn't know it had. I've always thought it only have Wifi. I have a 3rd generation Apple TV which has iOS. The first generation Apple TV had a modified version of OSX, there was also a hack where people can install a full OSX into it. But what does Apple TV do? First is access your purchased videos, podcast and music then play them on your TV. Second, it has a few apps such YouTube, ESPN, and Wallstreet Journal. Third, it can also play your video library through iTunes. Yes, it means that you have turn on iTunes your pc or Mac so the Apple TV can feed from it. The key here is that if iTunes can play it, then Apple TV can as well. The 3rd generation doesn't have a jailbreak yet so other way to skip iTunes. Lastly, the Apple TV is also used for air-play mirroring either from iOS devices or Mac computers. You can have your desktop screen appear on your living room TV and work there.

I actually don't want to work tomorrow because the office atmosphere is really, I mean really slow its like everybody is on holiday already. This morning has more work but towards lunch... Lets watch Sadako 3D. So I'm not so keen to working tomorrow. I guess that's it for now, lets meet up again tomorrow. Lets listen to a little Vicky B with Mind of its own.

Lay Down in Swimming Pools of Filth

Rainy day Hong Kong once again. It was dark by 16:00. I did watched The Mist during lunch time today. After watching it a massive mist... Well actually it's just a fog enveloping the skyscrapers of Central. In the back of my mind, something is in the mist lurking and waiting to attack. Well that's just my imagination running wild. The movie was ok, not superb just ok. It's more of a Sunday afternoon movie marathon. It wasn't really that scary and the suspense were a bit expected. At least it didn't end with the American way were they all escaped and lived happily ever after. The ending is expected but I won't spoil it, instead just give a quick run down of characters. Well you got the crazy Christian, well I think a lot of Christians are obsessive and crazy about their religion, but then again they don't like middle eastern people where their religion came from in the first place! I'm not gonna argue on an observation. If you don't agree, argue with yourself or discuss it with the Jews. Then most of the extras just kind of became her follower, thank goodness. They blew up her head! The creature in the mist, started off as tentacles then became insects which I believe is inconsistent. The ending was sort rushed in a way too because they didn't show how the creatures where killed especially the giant insect (tick-like) which apparently is all over the mist.

Moving on, there is no new RPDR episode today! Boo-hoo! But it does give an opportunity to talk about the last episode which I didn't do last week. This week the queens had to do a perfume ad. On the mini-challenge, they played a matching game. They had to match Andrew Christian (oh look at that Christian again! LOL) underwear worn by models, the game was called "Whatcha packing?". I don't know if Detox was flirting with the models or if she knows them. Ivy won the mini challenge and gets to call her mom. Then the main challenge was revealed, they are required to come up with their perfume, name and advert as well.

Michelle Visage directed together with Aubrey. Coco was kissing ass, Alyssa hallucinating in her own "humor", Ivy and Roxxxy were lost. Honestly this 4 probably will go next, probably not in that order. Jinkx has the well thought concept visually, her perfume was called delusion. Her ad was a girl waking up after a 3-way, spraying the perfume then waking up to reality that it was just a dream. It wasn't received well before editing and was thought of a dildo ad instead of a perfume ad. Detox was funny and brave to be sexy then switch to butch voice when saying Heroine, her perfume. Alaska definitely was the best even with no backdrop. It was commercial and was definitely an advert. Her concept was that she would turn and cross fade along the lines.

Alaska, of course won, then Ivy and Alyssa lip sync for their lives with Ivy getting eliminated. I honestly want another double elimination with Coco and Alyssa. They obviously do not do well on the challenges and rely on the lip sync performance to move on which I think should be noticed. Also Coco has been copying previous queens all through out the show. She copied Chad Michael's Giraffe outfit and Bebe's Africa Look. Alyssa is all just about being pretty so she should just go home and stare at herself.

I had some porridge tonight, century egg with meat strips. Century eggs I think is actually not been processed for centuries they just look like they are. I've also added a hard boiled egg, interesting though it has a number 8 when I peeled it. I boiled the egg my self so I don't know how I did it. Is it good luck? I damn hope so! I am actually allowed to eat 1 full meal a day but I'm a bit harder on myself and I try my best to eat only half a meal a day. So I have a fruit shake in the morning, then eat a 6 inch sub for lunch (or sometimes salad or kebab from Ebeneezer) and I usually just a fruit shake in the evening but I do eat sometimes at night when I'm really hungry. I also bought some almonds so that if I have the craving to munch on something I'll have almonds. I also try to sleep by 0:00 or around that time.

I've been listening to MKS (Mutya Keisha Siobhan) new music that has been released to the public via SoundCloud. First one is called "Lay Down in Swimming Pools", this is apparently a revived. It is actually more of a sampling song like when the second line up did "Freak like Me". No wait! It's like "Real Girl" or "Shape of my Heart". Using a song's music but with different lyrics. I was iffy about it when I first heard the song, but it grows on you and now I really like it. Most of the vocals was done by Mutya. The second song called "Entertainment", they are featured as the chorus singers. Siobhan's voice is very dominant on this track, I wonder how Keisha will react now that she is again the non dominant member. I miss their voices together, I love the "Soul Sound" BBC live performance. I also like Sugababes 2.0 songs but I'm not a big fan of Heidi. She is a bigger bitch than any of the Sugababes.

Well I guess that's it for now. Have good night sleep whilst the raining is falling on your head. Or at least I think it's rain... LOL

And the holiday mood begins

There is an impending long weekend here in Hong Kong. Good Friday and Easter Monday sandwiching the weekend. Then if that isn't enough 3 days later another holiday; Ching Ming it is the Chinese equivalent to the Pinoy's All Souls/Saints day. To elaborate more (ooh! I'm getting very technical LOL), its the day when people visit they're departed relatives and friends. My family does the Ching Ming a couple weeks early to avoid the people swarming cemeteries. The main reason why you want to avoid the Ching Ming Rush is that Chinese has a tradition to burn offerings. It's a belief that the stuff you burn will be sent to your relatives and as most people you would like to see the offering completely burn. Most of the cemeteries has limited burning facility so imagine the queue!

The office has been slow recently as well, at least for me. So I've decided to bring some movies to watch whilst waiting for any service calls. As I've previously posted I bought "The Mist" and "Sadako 3D", since then I still haven't watched them. The Mist is based on Stephen King's novel about a father and son together with other townsfolk trapped in a local grocery store. The thrill or fear factor of the movie is that there are creatures lurking in the mist that brings fear to the cast which in the end makes them all turn against each other. Sadako 3D I reckon is a continuation from the last iteration but done in recent time but the kicker is that if you read the description from the box it's like Castlevania. It's like reviving Dracula but in this movie reviving Sadako. The movie is now based in a school where a teacher and drag queen... err... I mean a real life yaoi is trying to defeat the person trying to revive Sadako and abuse her powers. Sooooo... I'm gonna bring them to the office tomorrow to watch. I'm a very big fan of horror movies but I'm afraid of supernaturals. I don't know, I probably watch these videos and movies to have that feeling of being alive and that there are a lot more possibilities in and after life.

I'm watching episode 5 of My Ghost Story. I like this episode better than the last one. The proofs on these episode are more visible and clear. I've also noticed that season 6 of My Ghost Story has gone international. They have stories from Canada and Ireland. They seem to be also trying to reach out to the Latin community with a couple of Latino stories. But I still think the people featured in the show, most of them are loaded; a few did go bankrupt in the end. A lot them were buying massive homes, but probably stupid as well because most of them would say "I bought the house knowing something was in there". Really? Back to the episode, I also liked the "Scared-necktady" about a house in New York because the activities are really visible and strong. A ball moving, I haven't seen that since season 1 or 2 that was. The chandelier was also moving. It was very interesting because this segment had a lot of video evidence as opposed to pictures. I also liked "The lost lass of Charleville" because it is also like watching Grand Designs as well. It's a castle in Ireland being haunted by a young girl who fell to her death; falling done the stairs. The pictures they have captured are also very fascinating, you can the girl's image, orbs and mists. As most shows, this episode saved the best for last, "My Name is Mudd" is about a house in Maryland. Watching these houses it is in the middle of nowhere but somehow I'm getting older and seems to long for that kind of environment. This segment is a bit of a history class, because Dr. Mudd was a confederate conspirator out to assassinate Lincoln. So blah blah blah just watch the episode. They caught isolated mists, a full body apparition and very clear EVP's.

In my reality office, like I said its getting slow. My colleague asked me to watch The Office UK by Ricky Gervais. I know it's a highly rated and praised show but that said something about an obnoxious boss is pissing me off. It could be that it is reflecting something in real life, maybe not with a boss but people in the office that resembles the character. Aside from the obnoxious character, something about the format makes me feel that the actors very low energy or probably the editing. I will give it another try especially when I am in a good mood because I do get most of the jokes. But for now I switch to Miranda in between. I love Miranda, but she is a giant and slightly too small of a head. But when they doll her up she is pretty. I love her friend Stevie, makes me want for my Besties. It since to have people who understand you and you can feel comfortable to make fun and judge other people. Don't be a Saint, I know you guys judge inside your head too. Tom Ellis is also so handsome, a definite heartthrob. Her mom Patricia Hodge is also very cleverly created that perfectly fits the whole cast. Her interactions with Miranda is also very funny. What I've noticed with UK shows... They don't really have lots of episodes. Unlike American shows, each season can go for about 20-24 episodes. Well, probably also because American shows hires a lot Jewish writers for each episode while UK shows only have like 5-6 writers for the whole season.

I did some Zumba tonight. 50 minutes. Bitch I am sweating my ass off! My moves were not perfect and I haven't completely followed the set yet. We will get there. Baby steps. I forgot to put a 5ive video on my previous post so ill put one here.

MeTube and a lot more updating

Today is still a little wet day for Hong Kong. Rain patched are spotted on couple of areas. A lot fog of course, fortunately not smog (combination of smoke and fog). I went home to my parents' today. I always have my father cut my hair but today I asked him to shave it. I'm always frustrated with my receding hairline and at times when I leave it too long it gets more frustrating then I decide to just shave it. It's is not completely bald more of a crew cut or semi-kal as we used to call it. My mom also made an exotic soup, reader discretion. It's a turtle soup very, very common Chinese delicacy but its not exactly a turtle but below in that family. It's supposedly good for the eyes, other than that reason my parents are obsessed with herbal medicine. I grew up with herbal soup and tea and all those Chinese medicine. I also saw my sister doing Zumba, it's like an aerobic dance. They have videos on YouTube so I will try to do some and no need to leave the apartment.

I also spent a lot of time updating the new YouTube profile page called YouTube One. I've added links, changed the description and I've also added a floating link to my channel on all my videos. It's like the TV logo floating about the screen but it is clickable and leads to my channel. I placed it on the top left-corner for now, I might change it to look more like a TV channel. I've also created new playlists to organize my videos, specifically for my NA Tour videos. I'm no OCD but its good to have playlists to guide my viewers, if I do have any. I've excavated a couple more old videos but some I'm a bit reluctant to redo for YouTube.

Speaking of more YouTube, I watched the Kylie Minogue interview on Chatty Man. This interview was to promote her single "Time Bomb". As always Kylie is very funny and rides along Alan's jokes which makes her so adorable. A couple of bits that I really liked and found out as well. First, I didn't know about the Rick Astley Gate, the claim was that back in the 80's Kylie has a ghost singer in the form of a sped up version of Rick Astley. To be fair it does sound like Kylie. The killer quote for that was when Alan said " People really do have a lot of time in their hands".

Second, was the pocket handkerchief, Kylie has on a pair hot pants. She is now trademarked with her hit pants but in this particular video Kylie had a red handkerchief on her right back pocket. The funny thing was that Kylie did not know what it symbolizes and Alan had to educate her that it was gay code for fisting. Third was when they were playing with this sort of butt machine. Just watch it. Last was the motorcycle in the end who will pick up Kylie and Alan trying to catch a ride.

I'm downloading the new episode of My Ghost Story, I've been missing out on my spooky bone. The last episode, there was a segment featuring Canadians, the videos were realistic and same as other videos from other episodes. Orbs flying about, chairs and doors being moved. Cool. But what I felt that was sort of fake was the story teller. They were not so believable. I'm not buying their crap. The guy looked like a drug addicted man with a weird accent, too proud as well. In the end of the segment, he alleged to push the spirit out the house. Yeah... I'm not buying his crap. Other segments I liked the female serial killers name Lavinia Fisher. I think I will use that name in my fiction writing, I have a design fit for her but I don't have an appropriate name yet.

I've been watching the latest episode of The Big Reunion as well and 5ive is growing on to me which is good because when the series started they came across as annoying drug addicted idiots. But after seeing them interact and be normal they were alright except for Sean. He is definitely still fucked up. You know where each boy and supposedly has a gay member. I think this group has 2. J and Sean. I reckon that they were lovers in the closet had a terrible breakup so neither of them would be together in the band's 2 reunion tries. Also the way that Sean is so messed up in the episodes, I reckon he was in love with J but was betrayed and crushed.

Scott I think was the only sane one his only problem was that he was tired and got burnt off from overwork. Abz and Richie became the crackheads after the band. Abz became a sugarbaby for a rich older woman, then became bankrupt. He now lives in a farm with his female partner. Richie became a crackhead party animal, then came to realization that he was in shit. He now owns his own bar called Guerrilla. Now a lot of people, especially here in Hong Kong, confuse guerrilla with gorilla. I will not touch that subject.

And so that is my post for today. About 2 more weeks and I will publish the first strip from BFFL. I kinda find that I work better under pressure and time constraint. I was able to make the trailer for my online identity in one day... more like 3 hours, so as the first version of my website. So fingers cross. I am also thinking of learning to make my own music because YouTube standards is starting to become a pisser especially when they let a user own a bell ring. WTF. So good night everybody and we will see each other again.

Gloomy week and some achievements

Hey everybody! It's been a week since I last posted. The weather here has been a gloomy bitch and got me unwell for the rest of the week. I wasn't able to keep up with my exercise routine because my muscle were aching from the weather and up to a point where I had to sleep through for a complete rest. But I am we'll now so lets get on with this shit. LOL.

Lets do a short run what has been happening. There has been 2 episodes each of the shows/webisodes that I am currently following; RPDR 5, The Big Reunion, & Willam's Beatdown; just remembered to check for new episode of My Ghost Story. I had been watching a couple of UK shows as well mostly back episodes; Grand Design, Alan Carr Chatty Man, Miranda and my colleague asked me to watch the Office UK. So those are the shows I'm watching.

Lets do The Big Reunion. So Blue has been finally introduced into the show. I will compact their story because they were featured for 2 episodes. So, as expected the other bands are also unhappy of their addition because they reunited and released new material when all the original cast didn't. But eventually they learned to accept Blue. Lets cut short the story, starting with Anthony. He was in the brink of bankruptcy when he accepted to appear on I'm a Celebrity! He also opened up about how he was the fourth wheel; the fat, least attractive and perceived as the one with least talent. Black guy... Simon! Forgot the name back there. He was floating about doing little solo work. Lee was supposedly the reason for the split because he was the big headed member; the bitch. After they split he had a less fulfilling solo career. Engaged with Liz from Atomic Kitten and you can see he was shit from Liz's reaction when they met at the reunion. Ok, the biggest story I think is Duncan. Other than his face looking like plastic work now, he is also the gay one. When googled this, Lee revealed he had threesomes with Duncan. Weird that he didn't figured it out when Duncan started sucking his... Well I dunno what happened with their 3-way. Hit it Justin Timberlake!

I am very excited with Miranda. At first when I saw her on Graham Norton and Chatty Man I had my doubts if I could relate to her plot. Surprisingly I did. The plot is a bit resembles the likes of Kim Sam Soon and Bridget Jones' Diary. She is a single privileged woman in her late 30's. She used her inheritance to buy a Joke Shop, which sells Joke toys. As most single woman shows there is a target sexy male character in the form of Gary, played by Tom Ellis. He is the chef on the next door canteen/pub whatever. He is also a long time friend and crush of Miranda. There are also a lot more of eccentric characters. Her friend and store manager who keeps the shop running. Her judgmental mother. Lastly Clive, who works with Gary. Clive also works as an escort as revealed in one of the episodes. Most of the humor on the show are centered on physical comedy, Miranda falling or bumping into things. I also relate to the fact that she was an outcast and didn't really have much friends or was good in socializing. Definitely, a show I will continue to watch.

On the home front, I've flashed my router to a DD-WRT firmware. Then flashed also an old one to set it up as a Repeater bridge. It was hours and hours of trial and error. I was following the instructions from Lifehacker the only difference was that on the guide they chose repeater but I needed to choose Repeater-Bridge to get the Internet through as well. Why did I flash the routers, you ask? Well I was already planning to do it a long time ago because the third party firmware offered more flexibility. I did it now because my home Internet was getting unstable so I set up the old one as sort of a stabilizer and it worked!

YouTube also has updated the profile page. I have been making a couple of picture mash up videos from my NA Trip last year. The idea came to me when I was watching iPhoto import the pictures and the thumbnails changed in half a second. I know this is a very common effect but I don't think I've used it so I did. I did Day 1-3, the biggest problem is YouTube's license where it muted the songs I selected to sing over the mash up. Luckily, some of my songs were just blocked in Germany. I'll take it. So far, Day 1 was Cyndi Lauper's Set your heart, Day 2 is Carly Rae Jepsen's Drive and lastly Day 3 is with 911's New Groove Generation. Aside front he mashups from my trip, I also did another one for YouTube's new Channel Trailer. For this one I recycled a coupled of videos and added pictures of my previous work. The dilemma was sound. I had the visual ready but I didn't know how to make music. Luckily, iLife have a perfect sound. I will incorporate this video with my website but I'm still thinking and designing where it should sit.

I'm quite happy because I was able to accomplish a couple of stuff. If it can only pay the bills. But that's life C'est La Vie!

All I want is Sashimi

Today I gave in to my raw fish craving also known as Sashimi. I bought some from Wellcome Supermarket. I'm not sure if its cheaper there but it's packed and sliced already. Aside from that I needed to get bread. As you remember I looked it up if Salmon Sashimi is good for people in diet and it is so I got some for dinner to satisfy my craving. So what did I get? I got some salmon and tuna sashimi, I forgot to take a picture... Oh well. It is a bit a crime for my diet plan because I was supposed to just have my fruit shake for dinner but as long as its does not happen everyday we are good. For lunch, again I had Ebeneezer chicken gyro kebab because its Friday. Yeah that's my reason to have grilled chicken wrap, it's Friday. I didn't do exercise today because it was kinda late when I came home, tomorrow I will be exercising probably in the afternoon though. I will get some salad ingredients tomorrow morning, will save me money if I made my own salad again rather than buying outside. I go early while there are still vegetable to buy and not much people are up yet.

I'm transferring files to my Mac Mini that's why I don't have computer to use. So what I do? I play Ni No Kuni. I am still at the last stage the Ivory Tower. I did some leveling up and faced a boss, one of the 12 minions to the white witch. I got a new magic staff from the minion it resembles the old but is stronger. I defeated my first white tokotoko. That thing has 20000 something experience points, I first cast a huge dark ball spell from Oliver then switch to the Pig King (I don't know his name) then cast another spell to kill the sneaky little shit.

I found another good show posted on YouTube. It's a UK show on channel 4 called Grand Design. It's a house building show either new build or restoration. From the episodes uploaded, it does not cover only UK homes. They also go other countries from European countries like France and Italy to Florida, USA. The first one I saw today was this rich couple who bought a chalet in the French Alps. The owners wants to renovate / restore the chalet and make it farmhouse meets contemporary design. Before I go further, this people are unbelievably rich! I mean, wow! The total cost that was shown on the episode went to almost 1 million pounds. I don't remember them saying what the husband do but the anal retentive wife is an interior designer. I mean lets be honest, how can an interior designer earn that much? It is considered luxury now but boy can she throw money. She bought the finest Italian kitchen appliances, expensive furniture, and a giant glass. I will be honest the design was great but most of it you would think of just getting at your Swedish girlfriend Ikea. Now she threw her money into this expensive furnishings but she didn't hire a project manager to watch over the project and the French masons are running around. They didn't get the right materials, destroyed the original materials of the chalet, and gave empty promises. I would be pissed if it was me but then again no one was closely looking overhead project so the contractor did as they please to fit their deadline. The place looks good and crazy bitch was happy. The host by the way, I don't know if he has been doing this show since forever and totally out of it because he would get obnoxious and condescending at times on the show. It's a little bit if a throwback for the show because the houses they feature are really beautiful.

For one show we move to the next show, The Big Reunion. Lets talk about B*Witched. So they were formed by Twins Edele and Keavy, younger sisters to Boyzone "wallflower" Shane Lynch. Yeah I called him a wallflower because he only sang background and just be the cool, pretty and talentless one. So basically that's how they managed to get a manager. They first recruited friend Sinead who is 6 years their senior. When they showed her on present day, I didn't realised it was her because she looked like their manager then when the show progressed I was wondering who is this bitch then it hit me. Moving on, they added another member Lindsay. She later married then split in 2011 with Lee Brennan of 911. You would think they have drama onscreen being together on the show but they didn't... Wop wop.

So they released their first single "C'est la vie" which went to number one and placed B*witched on the map getting 4 number one singles. At this point Edele was becoming the lead singer and the 3 others going into insane asylum route. I didn't noticed also back then that they rocked the double denim look. So while on the promotion of their second album, it was reveled that Keavy went totally insane and Edele tried to get her a much neede break but eventually was gunned down. Their final single was "Jump Down" where they changed from double denim cutie girls to sexy girls which they said nobody took into liking. Not long after that they were dropped by their label. Edele wanted to keep the band going but Sinead walk away and felt that what was the point to keep going. Edele and Sinead made up in the reunion. Keavy was insane, went into therapy and enrolled into counseling school then has her own band singing in London. Lindsay went into acting and in the reunion was in head butt with Edele. In the end, Edele compromised by giving parts of the lead singing to the other girls.

So how many bands have I covered so far, I did Liberty X, Honeyz, and B*Witched. What's left are Atomic Kitten, 5ive and 911. I will do 5ive left then my 2 favorite bands Atomic Kitten and 911. Like they say "save the best for last". But for now let's watch the Smurfs... Err... (Don't they look like the smurf in the shot?) B*Witched with Jump Down.

Viva Forever Sashimi

Day 4 of the weight loss, I made my fruit shake this morning but I forgot to bring it with me because I was rushing and I thought of just drinking it in the office but... yeah. I did 1 hour of exercise again today. My exercise music for tonight is Sharon Needles' PG-13, RuPaul's Champion and The Spice Girls' Greatest hits. So while was doing my crazy, and funny exercise Who Do You Think You Are was playing and of course automatically I go with the beat. I'm starting to get used to the exercise regime. 1 hour no longer feels forever and my stomach is starting to feel the tension which I think is a good sign that I'm going in the right direction.

Have you guys seen the The Spice Girls Documentary "Giving you everything"? They have another one for the Viva Forever play but Giving you everything was filmed before The Spice Girls Reunion and along with the Greatest Hits album. As most of their documentaries, it started off with before they became famous until to the present time of that airing. This documentary focused more on their career, their relationships (Mel C Sporty Spice hinted that the others girls ganged up on her), Geri leaving and the split. All in all Posh Spice is ruling them all. Yes! The last girl on the right is now the most famous and richest out of the 5. She is now building her empire. She started off with jeans, then eye glasses; and everybody was slagging her for not being focus on the jeans line but look at where she is now. Now that's girl power!

Back to my weight loss. I was craving for sushi for the past few weeks now and since I started this program this week I had to look up if its ok to have sushi. I stumbled upon, first result from google, was from shape.com. It was a good article gave a couple of good advice. They suggest that sashimi, salmon or tuna are the best because they high in Omega 3, low in calorie, and since its raw no extra ingredient. Raw, steamed and grilled are the best option. Also eating the wasabi and ginger also helps. Wasabi has antioxidants, of course, you need it to eat raw food because, at least I think, helps to kill bacteria. Ginger for anti microbial and antiviral agent. Lastly, the obvious avoid the fried options.

What else has been going on in the world today? I ordered a refurbished Mac Mini. Then a VESA-mount version of the iMac was quietly added to the line up. This model does not have a stand and mounts are sold separately. It also costs more than the normal iMac which I think is weird because it seems that there are less of the materials on this model. New York is preparing for the launch of Samsung Galaxy S4. LG is already quick on its feet to take advantage of the hype and place a remarkably deceiving ad on top of the Samsung one. Smart move!

I'm a little worries about BFFL, because I haven't done a new one since my last post. So it's a little worrying that I may not be able to keep to a regular publish. That said, I do have a couple of ideas (which means 2) that is still playing in my mind. Well it just the second week of March and I do have about 10 strips ready so that's about 2 months for a weekly publish. I do have been drawing a lot at the office. I do like plain pencil sketches then I use my brush to blend. I am currently addicted to a lot of pic-modifying apps. I have Line Camera to put my signature, Big Lens to blur the background, MoreBeaute sometimes to smooth out the rough sketches and Photomagic I use for the whole heck of effects and filters. Sometimes I also use InstaFrame to put the final filtered pic into frames then post on to my Instagram account, check it out; most of my updates are there.

Ooh this diet is making the real bitch come out! As most diets the first few weeks is very difficult but I can do this. I just need more will power and distraction, so far what I do is the water diet. It's basically what it's called, I just pump myself with more and more water. Whew!

I am sore

Today is the 3rd day of my lose weight commitment. BUT, tonight I decided to rest because of 2 reason. First, my body is still sore especially my left ankle. For some odd reason it feels like I sprained it but it comes and go. So I will let the bitch rest for tonight. My joints and legs muscles are still very sore as well that by afternoon I just want to take a nap. As they always say your body is your temple, pfft... This temple is crashing down baby. Second, it's a shit day, like, literally. When I left the office, actually while I was still preparing to leave I can already feel the rumbling in my ass. It's still going on as I'm writing this. So to avoid an uncertain accident, lets do a rest day.

On a better note, the diet is still going strong, shakes and a sandwich; or in today's case kebab. Ok,so, past 2 days I had Subway Sandwiches. Monday I had a Ham sub and Tuesday I had a BLT sub. These sandwich meals so for HK$25 you get a 6-inch sub and a can of soft drink. I don't drink it because of sugar and all that, so I just take one and keep it. I have lessened my sugar intake. I still have some sugar from like bananas and soy milk for my shake. I haven't had coffee for 3 days, it is difficult for someone who loves... I mean LOVES coffee. But it is good that I don't drink coffee because lately I noticed I just gulp coffee in. I have like 2-3 cups a day. I don't like black coffee, so I put creamer and sugar. If put it all together it's not good. I did replace coffee with tea, I am currently drinking guarana tea along with my subs. So far after 2 days, my sense of smell has heightened the fuck up! I mean, there's a burger place across our office. When I was going for lunch today, I could smell them even before I cross the street.

So today I had lunch with my good friend and former colleague. Originally, I said I'm eating Subway for now because of the diet. Then he suggested ebeernezeer... Enernezer... Ebeneezers! So they sell Halal foods. I'm not a huge fan of Halal food but that said I do like kebabs and shawarmas. I think they are the same, it's basically a wrap with strips of meat with onions vegetables and sauce. I had Indian food before and I dunno what was the the herb but it made me dizzy and sick. So from then on I was cautious and wouldn't choose Indian food ever again. I had a chicke gyro kebab. All I know it's roasted chicken, the sauce I think is sort guacamole-like because its color green.

So I'm just gonna rest tonight, maybe sleep early after watching some "My Ghost Story". Speaking of ghosts, Mama the movie will just start showing in Hong Kong later this month.... But I already saw it. LOL. I am interested to watch Oz by Disney. The movie is about how this posh English wimp becomes the wizard of Oz. if you saw the poster, the red witch looks like she's a pimp not someone magical. I enjoyed the Alice in Wonderland movie so I guess that is why I am keen to watch this one. I got a couple of movies that I haven't watched yet. I got a new one "Sadako 3D", it's a new story from "The Ring" about a curse video. From the trailer, like I said I haven't seen it, the curse video is now online and resides on search engines. Then the woman in the well just comes out of any monitor in sight. I also got "The Mist" based on Stephen King's novel. It's in a mini mart enveloped by this deadly mist.

So that is what's been happening. I talked about movies, food and restaurants. I also updated about my weight loss program. That's all.

2 hours felt like forever!

So it's been 2 nights since I started my commitment to losing weight. Last night I did 2 hours and that felt like forever! I worked it... in a crazy person way though. I did a little jogging and running because I'm heavy it's dangerous for my feet. I mostly did cardio-based exercise, aerobics and some jumping. If you saw me, you would think I'm crazy because I mostly did a slow motion version of running. It seems simple but that move was painful. Well to put in simple words, imagine me doing the morning exercise shows; only I'm at the park and its night time. I worked it too much I thought I lost my spine! So tonight, I only did 1 hour or exercise also because my ankle seems to gave in because of my weight. Lastly just eating Subway for 2 days, and yes! I'm starving!

So lets talk about the new episode of RuPaul's Drag Race. This week the main challenge is to roast RuPaul. So obviously since its a roast, the mini challenge has the queens reading each other. Jinkx was funny "there's 2 kinds of peanut butter, creamy and CRUNCHY!". Detox was also good because of the way she projected her read. Alaska won the mini-challenge obviously and as expected she is one of the funniest characters. Also, speaking of Alaska she broke off Ro-Laska-Tox which I think makes sense because she seems to be closer to Jinkx and Ivy.

Michelle Visage was the mentor for this week. A first for the show to have a different mentor. Michelle is aware of talent but seems to be always blinded by the pageant queens and their snotty look. Auto tune seems to be a favorite joke from the queens. Ivy was lost, it could have been a great act but she sort of gave up because she's too nice and got confused during the mentor session. Roxxxy and Alyssa are just going for insults and not jokes. While preparing their material Alyssa as always was annoying and thinking he is funny. Have you see Alaska's look of wanting to kill Alaska when he read some of what he wrote.

Moving on to the main challenge. Alaska ended up going first. For someone like Alaska, going first was a good move but she should gone further and step on the line. If you think about it, if the strongest started first, it raises the bar super high and the other bitches can't keep up and flop. Alyssa and Roxxy bombed; can't say anything else except quote Jinkx "If a queen bombs, you don't only hear crickets but also guns being cocked". Ivy was too nice and sweet that he flopped at roasting. Leslie Jordan was a judge, you may remember him from Will & Grace as Beverly Leslie the gay dwarf socialite friend of Karen. What is it with this week's looks? Is it tribute to Sharon Needles day?

Jinkx, finally, was praised for her look although the only look of hers that I didn't like was last week's. Coco played the ghetto character. Honestly, another ghetto character winning the comedy challenge. Shangela, La Trice, and now Coco. Seriously, I don't think her material was the best only the way she move looked entertaining. Then it came to Alyssa and Roxxxy lip syncing. Seriously, no elimination??? They could have either eliminated both. Personally, I feel they relied on the lip sync performance rather than on the main challenge. Roxxxy cried before the announcement of elimination. Bitch was faking, if you noticed her tongue... It went "cool they fell for it". Not my favorite judging. Lets hope next week there is a super elimination.

So that's it for tonight, I am so tired I had to take a nap this afternoon. So goodnight peace out!

CREATIVE | COLORFUL | CORRUPTED

SERVING INSANITY SINCE 2011
